Daivari issued a statement (read in full below) in which he noted that he was simply playing a character that does not reflect his personal views. Follow him online at <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AriyaDaivariWWE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter.com\/AriyaDaivariWWE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> This sort of nonsense from fans threatening heels was not uncommon back in the kayfabe days, but it seems even more ridiculous today. Ariya is clearly attempting to defuse the situation and here&#8217;s hoping he is successful.
