The following are among the highlights of the interview, which can be heard below or at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cu2vDfqUr98\">Youtube.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>D&#8217;Amore on Austin Aries being champion:<\/b> &#8220;He has a long and storied history with this company and having him come back is great, he is a world class talent the fan base is excited, it is almost a home coming for him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>Callis on Jeremy Borash and the commentary plans:<\/b> &#8220;I think Jeremy has been a great employee for Impact Wrestling, a lot of his contribution has not been in front of the camera, there is a plan for the commentary team in place and it really hasn&#8217;t changed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>D&#8217;Amore on Impact Wrestling pay-per-views:<\/b> &#8220;For now I see it as three live pay-per-view. We&#8217;ll evaluate that as we go forward and we&#8217;re certainly looking at potentially adding to that schedule.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>D&#8217;Amore on their partnership with Twitch TV:<\/b> &#8220;Every month there&#8217;s going to be a Twitch exclusive, which is going to be an event that debuts on Twitch and will come from different arenas or facilities around the country and hopefully eventually from around the world. Those types of events will be taking the place of the conventional monthly pay-per-views.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>Callis on the opening month with the company:<\/b> &#8220;It has been a lot of fun, we have some amazing talent we are working with and we have a lot of plans and changes that will take place as time moves on.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> The buzz had been that Borash and Callis would be the Impact broadcast team with Josh Mathews transitioning to a different on-air role. It will be interesting to see what approach they end up taking now that Borash has left the company for WWE and whether it was a move that was planned prior to his departure. As for pay-per-views, they indicated that the shows they air will be Redemption. Slammiversary, and Bound For Glory. When it comes to the taped One Night Only type of shows, those will air on the Global Wrestling Network.
