Nothing special in the grand scheme of Bayley&#8217;s title reign, but serviceable, and the post match hints that her next title defence will be very, very special when she finally takes on Asuka. It&#8217;s also super refreshing to see a &#8220;friendship&#8221; match end without having some unrest seeded. BayMella lives!<\/p>\n<p><b>Johnny Gargano vs. Baron Corbin:<\/b> This was a nice little opener for the show, where they kept things within Corbin&#8217;s wheelhouse and played to his strengths. Though it isn&#8217;t harder to be better than &#8220;Surly, uncaring Corbin&#8221;, &#8220;Angry Corbin&#8221; is much more tolerable.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>WWE NXT Misses<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Overall Show:<\/b> While I&#8217;m still excited for the remaining UCF shows, I&#8217;m so annoyed they kicked off with the same formula as the past couple of Full Sail episodes. What&#8217;s got into NXT creative? The middle segments of these shows are becoming toxic.<\/p>\n<p><b>Hype Bros vs Corey Hollis and Jon Skylar:<\/b> Who was this for? No one could ever take the Hype Bros seriously given their combo of character and appalling win\/loss record, so this squash match win may have been the very definition of futile.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alexa Bliss vs. Cameron:<\/b> Speaking of bad decisions, who thought this was a good idea? Though it does make me happy to report that Alexa Bliss is now officially &#8220;better than this&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><b>Elias Samson vs. Jesse Sorenson:<\/b> I hope for his sake this only applies to his squash matches, but so far Samson has been nothing short of an excitement vacuum. I actually like his look, and his &#8220;mystique&#8221; to some extent, but his matches just bottom out any momentum the show has going (and this none had none anyway at this point).<\/p>\n<p><i>Thanks for reading.
