And then it got back to us that Jeff Jarrett had said, my favorite person Jeff Jarrett, \u2018Well yeah, just keep dragging it out. They\u2019ll get tired of spending money.\u2019 Really? Because I might get tired of it, but it\u2019s not going to stop, I\u2019ll tell you that&#8230; I\u2019m pretty sure they\u2019ve been betting on the fact that we were just going to get bored or going to get tired. But I think everybody is kind of underestimating my level of petty. And my level, my need for vengeance. It\u2019s never even been about money, it\u2019s more about the principle of things. And I think on their end it\u2019s more about ego. And for me personally, I don\u2019t know about Matt, it\u2019s more about doing the right thing really.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>On Nordholm claiming Matt demanded an additional $100,000 before his deal expired:<\/b> \u201cSo my favorite part about Ed Nordholm going on record and saying, \u2018Oh, he held me up for one hundred thousand dollars more,\u2019 or whatever. Honestly, I haven\u2019t even read the interview, we\u2019re on vacation. Anytime I see anything he said it makes me so incensed and it makes me sick. I can\u2019t even read it. But everyone\u2019s telling me this is what was said. That was absolutely not what was said, and my favorite part is that we have it on record. Over and over and over, Matt going over things with Ed Nordholm saying that he\u2019s willing to work things out with him, saying the actual amount that they were negotiating in order for him to resign. So just the fact that he has this nerve to tell Sports Illustrated, \u2018Oh yeah, he\u2019s holding me up for money.\u2019 He\u2019s not holding anybody up for money. What would he be holding up anyway? It\u2019s his contract. It\u2019s a matter a resigning, he\u2019s not holding up anybody. So to even put it in those terms, it\u2019s like what f*cking nerve, dude.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>On if Matt could do a similar \u201cBroken\u201d gimmick in WWE:<\/b> \u201cIt\u2019s funny that you even mention that because there\u2019s so many people that have left and keep their name. It\u2019s like their whole stand on this is, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s just business. It\u2019s just a matter of protecting ourselves. It\u2019s just a matter of protecting our intellectual property,\u2019 even if it was one hundred percent their intellectual property, which I\u2019m pretty sure still legally it cannot be deemed as such. Even if it was, why aren\u2019t they going after everyone who has ever worked for TNA who\u2019s now gone on to bigger and better things? Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, everyone. Why aren\u2019t they protecting that intellectual property? Why specifically this? Why haven\u2019t they filed copyrights for their current performers? It\u2019s an adjective, are you fucking kidding? It\u2019s so frustrating. If they\u2019re that concerned, if that\u2019s their stance, \u2018Oh it\u2019s just business, we\u2019re just protecting ourselves,\u2019 why are you just protecting yourself when it comes to two performers out of your entire roster of people that have ever worked there, including people that currently work there? That\u2019s that important to you. It\u2019s just nothing they say ever adds up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>On Matt hinting at the Broken Universe on WWE TV:<\/b> \u201cHe would be doing whether or not there was any deal in place. And he has been doing it even at WrestleMania when things were still very much up in the air, when it could have gone either way, when both parties were sure it could\u2019ve gone either way. Up until a couple of months ago there were still negotiations going on, up until even a few weeks ago. Up until the last time I popped off on Twitter. That was the last straw for me because we had a verbal agreement and it was pretty much, \u2018Hey Reby, shut the fuck up while we figure out what we\u2019re doing,\u2019 which I obliged to. I was like, \u2018Fine, okay, that\u2019s cool. I can do that.\u2019 And in the meantime we\u2019re going to figure this out, our lawyers are going to commission that and it\u2019s going to go back and forth. And we\u2019re going to agree to this, this, this and this and we\u2019ll get back to you next week. And a week passes. And then a few days pass. And then a damn interview with one of these stooges comes out, either Jeff or Dutch Mantell fucking goes on Twitter and pops off or Ed gives another interview with some inaccurate information or releases a statement. It\u2019s like, \u2018Wait a second. We\u2019re actually holding up our end of the deal here. We\u2019re still thinking this is going to go through for the nine hundredth freaking time at this point, and meanwhile you\u2019re breaking it. You are breaking your end of the deal over and over and over and over.\u2019 If this deal was going to happen, I promise it would\u2019ve happened already. And it would\u2019ve been more beneficial to them. \u2026 Best for all parties, but they\u2019re the ones that have to deal with the public perception. And people can say all day and night, \u2018Oh Reby Hardy is this and this and this. And she\u2019s unprofessional and she\u2019s a brat and blah blah.\u2019 That\u2019s great, I\u2019m not running a company. I\u2019m not a corporation, I\u2019m not making money for an umbrella of people, they are. They have to worry about that. They have to worry about public perception. The boys are going to be good no matter what. This is not affecting the boys\u2019 livelihood, the boys\u2019 stand with the office. They\u2019re good, they\u2019ve got jobs. They\u2019re on TV every week. We never had any doubt about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>On the financial terms of their most recent agreement offer:<\/b> \u201cIt would be almost impossible to do a royalty kind of thing because it would be involving WWE, and WWE is not stooping to that level to be dealing with that. There was money involved, and we would&#8217;ve gotten our desired outcome. And they would\u2019ve gotten their desired outcome too. The thing is what they\u2019re fighting for, which is to protect their property, they get nothing out of what they were asking for in the agreement, nothing more than they were already getting had none of this happened. We never had a problem with them releasing merch or DVDs or making money off the Broken gimmick, that was not a problem. We just wanted to be left alone with it, like every other performer who has ever come and gone from there. We just wanted to be able to use what we created and move on with our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>On how Senor Benjamin is doing:<\/b> \u201cWhen I first told my dad about what was happening at WrestleMania, he was literally like the only person I told because it was so top secret with their big return. It was literally no one can know. No one in the building can even know, it was crazy. But when I told him he was like, \u2018Oh that\u2019s great.\u2019 And then the second thing he said was, \u2018Um, does that mean we get to go too?\u2019 Because he\u2019s not like a wrestling guy at all. He speaks broken English. He doesn\u2019t watch wrestling, he\u2019s like a boxing guy. A real old-school Puerto Rican. So he just doesn&#8217;t get the politics. I kind of try to describe it. When the \u2018Fuck that Owl\u2019 shirt came out, I gave him one. He was like \u2018Qu\u00e9 es esto? What is this?\u2019 So I had to describe to him what was going on. If you\u2019re not in wrestling or you don\u2019t follow it, it sounds crazy. It is crazy. But it was cute. It was like, \u2018Do we get to come?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Awww, I\u2019m sorry.\u2019 But he\u2019s great.
