Cornette was the longtime manager of the Midnight Express, the longtime rivals of Morton and Gibson. Read the official announcement at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwe.com\/shows\/wwe-hall-fame\/wwe-hall-of-fame-2017\/article\/jim-cornette-rock-n-roll-express-wwe-hall-of-fame\" target=\"_blank\">WWE.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> The move is surprising in that\u00a0Cornette has not been on good terms with the company for many years. It&#8217;s also perfect in that Cornette should be the guy to induct Morton and Gibson.
