On Saturday, September 26. New Texas Pro went to Austin, Texas. Both shows are available for free on their YouTube channel.

Since I didn’t have time to watch both shows, I picked three matches from Friday and five matches from Saturday. So yes, I watched both matches featuring two of my favorites: Danny Orion and Brick Savage.

New Texas Pro X PrideStyle Pro “Now Or Never” at the New Houston Premier Arena on September 25, 2026. There were eight total matches. This is a small, dark room. The ring was lit alright, but certainly not ideal. Oof, this crowd was small, maybe 60.

“Dream Team” Danny King and KC Kr’eme vs. “Toxic Masculinity” Bryn Thorne and Jordan Cruz for the New Texas Pro Tag Team Titles. Bryn and Jordan are regulars on the West Coast; I just watched both of them wrestle on a United Wrestling Network show from California. Cruz and KC brawled at the bell, with Kr’eme hitting a dropkick. Bryn knocked KC off the top turnbuckle to the floor, and the heels stomped on KC. Bryn (think Ronda Rousey or Marina Shafir) got in the ring at 2:30 and choked Kr’eme, and she planted her foot in his throat.

Thorne hit some short-arm clotheslines. KC dropped her with a hard overhand chop. King tagged in at 4:00; he’s wearing a face protector mask tonight, similar to Brutus Beefcake at WrestleMania IX. He hit some punches on Cruz. Bryn hit a low-blow punt kick on King, and she choked him in the ropes. She hit a snap suplex at 5:30. The heels continued to work over King. They hit stereo running knees to King’s forehead, and Bryn got a nearfall at 7:00.

King and Bryn collided heads and were both down. KC and Cruz got the hot tags. Jordan hit a Castanoli-style deadlift German Suplex off the second rope on Kr’eme! KC hit a Mafia Kick on Jordan. King hit a flying forearm on Bryn. The champs hit stereo superkicks on Jordan, then a team Magic Killer swinging slam on Cruz for the pin. Good action.

“Dream Team” Danny King and KC Kr’eme defeated “Toxic Masculinity” Bryn Thorne and Jordan Cruz to retain the New Texas Pro Tag Team Titles at 10:42.

Danny Orion vs. Isaac Morales for the New Texas Pro Title. Isaac’s henchmen emerged with him, but he sent them to the back and came to the ring solo. (I watched the IWTV version to avoid any YouTube ads.) There were nine matches. This feels like the corner of a large gym, as we have curtains instead of walls on two sides of the arena. A small crowd here, too, with perhaps 100 people.

Jesse Funaki vs. Epydemius Jr. This opened the show. I’ve seen them draw big crowds at outdoor shows under a canopy, so it’s disappointing to see them not drawing well, because the action is good, the commentary is solid, and they use good on-screen graphics.

Listen to "Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast" on Spreaker.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[2,20,15
4867
post-197730","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-newsticker","category-other_tv_reports","category-tv_reports","tag-new-texas-pro-wrestling
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.6 -
