They stopped and spoke about their title match. Nana told Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun not to forget who gave them their start.

Kofi shifted the focus to their potential title defense against Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King. Kofi asked about Swerve’s past issues with all three men. Kofi and Creed wondered if Swerve had any friends in AEW before they showed up. Swerve thought about it and then told them that he’d see them out there. The challengers had Creed down and isolated before a picture-in-picture break. [C]

At ringside, Ricochet jumped off the barricade and hit a Doomsday Device on Swerve, who was on Toa and Kaun’s shoulders. Legal man Creed made a hot tag to Kofi, who worked over Toa and Kaun. There was a clunky Kofi and Kaun spot, but they got right back on track when Toa blasted Kofi with a big shoulder block.

The challengers regained offensive control and Kaun picked up a near fall on Kofi. Kaun put Kofi down with a cutter and then Ricochet performed a 630 senton and had Kofi pinned, but Swerve broke up the pin at the last moment.

Later, the teams went back and forth with the various wrestlers all hitting big moves in rapid fire fashion. Page said he’s happy that Kofi and Creed are in AEW, but he doesn’t know if they realize who they are involved with. Page pointed out that his team won the trios titles and then asked Swerve what he was doing by forming a trios team of his own.

Creed said Swerve is teaming with the best tag team in pro wrestling. Kofi said Swerve is a changed man. “It’s been three weeks,” King said to laughs. Swerve played up Page walking out on his past trios teams with the Young Bucks and JetSpeed. Swerve said Page is no better or different than him.

King said they’d see if three weeks is long enough for the champions to keep their belts. Bandido yelled in Spanish. Swerve and Page had an intense staredown while Kofi and Creed held up their title belts and jawed with Bandido and King…

Powell’s POV: A good match that got the show off to a good start. The post-match angle made the pay-per-view match more appealing, thanks mostly to the focus being on the Swerve and Page rivalry. The only negative is that this stood out as one of the most appealing advertised matches, so it will be interesting to see what they use as a hook to keep viewers watching. Also, WrestleTix listed the venue as being set up for 3,293 with 3,105 tickets distributed. The total number of seats on the map is 5,127. The last time AEW ran the venue, 3,284 tickets were distributed for the December 3, 2025, Dynamite.

Renee Paquette interviewed AEW World Champion Will Ospreay, Mike Bailey, and Francesco Akira. Ospreay expressed gratitude for Bailey trying to save his friends. Ospreay invited Bailey to join the United Empire. Bailey said it didn’t work so well the last time he was on a team, but he opted to accept the offer. Akira was going to cuss again, but Ospreay covered his mouth and said he wasn’t paying the fine again… [C]

Thekla delivered a promo on the backstage interview set. But even if they did, there wouldn’t have been any mystery regarding the outcome of this match with Moxley challenging for the AEW World Championship on Saturday.

Renee Paquette had Darby Allin and Steven Borden on the interview set. Adam Copeland arrived and told them that he told Christian Cage to sit this one out. Copeland thanked Darby for helping him last week. Copeland said he watched Collision and heard Borden say he wants to challenge for AEW Tag Team Titles if he and Darby win at All Out. Copeland praised Borden, but warned him about reaching for legends.

Copeland said Borden will be massive, but he said he’s reaching past the stars for legends. Copeland told him to ask his dad what that means. Copeland told Darby that coming after him and Cage is like climbing two Mount Everests. Darby said there was a lot he wanted to say to Copeland, but for now he simply said challenge accepted. Copeland told him to be careful what he wishes for… [C]

“The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson made their entrance. “FTR” Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler came out with Stokely Hathaway. AEW Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage made their entrances and joined their All Out challengers in the ring. There were chairs in each corner and some ladders on the floor.

Hathaway said he and FTR were only there so they wouldn’t be fined by “the greatest boss in the world.” Hathaway added, “Let’s wrap this shit up.” The Bucks said FTR are the Dudley Boyz in Saturday’s match. Nick said he and Matt are the Young Bucks, but they’re not getting any younger. He said it could be their last shot at the titles and would fight like hell.

Christian said it would be their last shot at the titles. He said he’d already done FTR’s mothers and said he was looking forward to meeting the Bucks’ mother in Chicago. Copeland pulled Christian’s mic away and told him that he has issues. Copeland said he and Christian had been in 40 TLC matches (presumably because he was censored). He asked what either team could do to them that hasn’t been done before. Copeland said he and Christian made a damn good career jumping off of ladders.

Matt said everything Copeland said was true if it were 1999. He said that the last time Copeland jumped off of something high, he crippled himself. Copeland and Christian got in the Jacksons’ faces. Harwood stepped up and said that as much as he’d like to see the other two teams fight. He didn’t get to finish his sentence because Copeland punched him and Matt punched Wheeler. FTR was cleared from the ring.

Copeland and Christian traded punches with the Bucks, who then superkicked them. The Bucks went to the floor. Matt hoisted up Wheeler while Nick climbed the ladder, but a bunch of security guards ran out. Matt superkicked one of the security guards, and then Nick dove off the ladder onto several security guards. Matt superkicked another security guard, and then FTR put another security guard through a table.

Hathaway watched from the ring and ended up with Copeland and Christian standing behind him with chairs. Security guards ran in, allowing Hathaway to escape. Copeland and Christian beat up the security guards and gave one a Conchairto…

Powell’s POV: Beating up security guards is bad enough, but hitting one of them with a Conchairto for simply doing his job feels a bit extreme for Copeland. I’m not reading anything into it as far as Copeland turning heel is concerned because everyone beats up security guards for no good reason these days. Putting that aside, the tension between the teams set the table for the big TLC, er, CLT match at All Out.

Renee Paquette interviewed Willow Nightingale on the backstage interview set. Willow said the last time they wrestled for the world championship, she hadn’t been a world champion yet, and she still beat Thekla. Willow said Thekla doesn’t know how dangerous she can be while chasing glory. Willow said she’d see Thekla on Saturday…

Tommaso Ciampa made his entrance, and then Jake Doyle came out with Don Callis…

3. Ciampa backed up and hit a running knee strike and then pinned Doyle.

Tommaso Ciampa beat Jake Doyle in 9:10.

Afterward, Ciampa sold his shoulder while Excalibur said it could be a stinger or nerve damage. Ciampa said this was as much for Callis as it was for his golden boy Okada. Ciampa said that in 2018, he and Okada lived on different islands. Ciampa said the entire wrestling world wondered what if. He said it’s 2026 and they no longer have to ask what if because they live on the same island now. Ciampa called out Okada.

AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada walked onto the stage dressed in a suit. Okada said Ciampa asked for the Rainmaker, but he has bad news for him. Okada said Ciampa wouldn’t get the Rainmaker tonight. “I’m so sorry,” Okada said in a comical voice. Okada said that Ciampa would get what he wants at All Out, just as he will get what he wants. Okada said he would show the world that Ciampa isn’t on his level and then called him a bitch.

Ciampa spoke about how he would be a Psycho Killer unlike anyone had ever seen before. Ciampa said he would expose Okada and take his title, and closed by calling him a bitch… [C]

Powell’s POV: I don’t get it. Ciampa is a big underdog in Saturday’s AEW International Championship match against Kazuchika Okada, so I don’t get what the point was of having him give up so much offense to Doyle. The post-match verbal exchange between Ciampa and Okada was fine. Perhaps I’m forgetting something, but I don’t remember everyone wondering “what if?” regarding Okada and Ciampa in 2018.

Britt Baker came out with Persephone, and then Hyan made her entrance…

4. [C]

Bailey and Kidd traded several slaps to the face. Bailey superkicked Kidd. Castagnoli cleared Bailey from the ring with a clothesline. Castagnoli clotheslined Ospreay, who hooked him into a pin for a two count. Castagnoli went for a Giant Swing, but Ospreay sat up and countered into a DDT. Because of that, I’m the man I am today.” Ospreay said the one thing that will stick with him is that the AEW World Championship is what it’s all about. Ospreay said he is here to attack for the next generation. Ospreay told Moxley that he’s being dumped into the ocean with a great white shark, because this time Moxley is the challenger and he is the world champion.

Moxley removed his headset and then entered the ring. Moxley asked Ospreay if he feels like the champion when he’s standing in the ring across from him. The entrances for Skye Blue and Queen Aminata followed…

2. Queen Aminata (w/Mina Shirakawa) vs. Skye Blue (w/Julia Hart). Mercedes Mone sat in on commentary. Blue stood on the ring steps and then suplexed Aminata to the floor before a PIP break. Blue followed up with a knee strike and then attempted a tornado DDT, but Aminata stuffed it and performed a neckbreaker for a near fall. Aminata went up top. Hart caused a distraction, and then Blue was able to avoid a double stomp.

Moments later, Blue went for her Code Blue finisher, but Aminata blocked it. Blue slapped Aminata, who responded with a headbutt. Aminata delivered a running knee strike and then got the three count.

Queen Aminata beat Skye Blue in roughly 10:00.

Hart attacked Aminata afterward. Shirakawa ran in, and the babyfaces got the better of it.

Thekla ran in and dropped Aminata and Shirakawa with elbow strikes.

Willow Nightingale ran out and hoisted up Thekla, but Hart pulled her leader to safety. Baker said Thunder Rosa and Hyan are so dumb for challenging them to a match in “Brittsburgh.” Baker accepted the tag match challenge for next week’s Dynamite. Persephone issued an open challenge for anyone other than Hyan or Thunder Rosa for All Out…

Excalibur hyped the All Out Countdown special for after Collision, and then hyped the main event… [C] Ace Austin made his entrance. Austin acted like he was struggling with the tenth squat, then powered up Pac and performed a Death Valley Driver before the final PIP break. [C]

Late in the match, Austin ran the ropes for a move, but Pac sidestepped him and then performed a release German suplex. Austin got back to his feet and charged Pac, who suplexed him into the corner. Pac went up top and hit the Black Arrow for the win.

Pac beat Ace Austin 10:35.

Pac put Austin in the Brutalizer. Jay White came out and attacked Pac. Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, David Finlay, and Clark Connors ran in and attacked White. Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, and Juice Robinson ran out to help Austin and White. Pac put Austin in the Brutalizer again.

Andrade El Idolo’s entrance theme played, which caused Pac to release the hold and leave the ring with the other Death Riders. Andrade hopped the barricade and clotheslined Pac. Andrade roughed up Pac and dumped him over the barricade. Pac going over was the obvious move because he’s challenging for the AEW National Championship on Saturday. Overall, this was nothing special as a go-home show. They spotlighted most of the matches in some way. I was already sold on some of the bigger matches, but I’m no more excited about the overall show than I was going in.
