The crowd was maybe 300. Chris Russo and Brad Gilmore\u00a0provided commentary.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0<b>Zilla Fatu<\/b>\u00a0came to the ring to a huge pop! The commentators noted he has debuted in NXT since the last show here. &#8220;It feels good to be home,&#8221; Zilla told the crowd. &#8220;All that matters is where my heart&#8217;s at.&#8221; Zilla said his father, Umaga, still came to ROW when he was in WWE and &#8220;helped build this place.&#8221; He again thanked the fans and posed in the corner &#8212; it doesn&#8217;t appear he&#8217;s getting into an angle or being part of the show other than this.<\/p>\n<p><b>1. Semsei vs. Nasir Dey.<\/b> Again, Dey used to be named Warren J, and the commentators immediately talked about that change. A clean lockup, and they are roughly the same size. Sensei\u00a0hit a dropkick for a nearfall. Dey hit a spin kick to the back. He hit a scoop bodyslam at 3:00 and cranked on Semsei&#8217;s neck. Dey tied a submission hold around the neck, but Semsei escaped. Semsei came off the ropes, but Dey caught him with a double-handed chop at 5:00.<\/p>\n<p>Semsei hit a top-rope flying knife-edge chop and was fired up. Dey raked the eyes and pulled Semsei&#8217;s bandana over his eyes and hit an enzuigiri. Even with the bandana still over his eyes, Semsei ducked a kick and hit his own spin kick. He hit an axe kick to the back of the head for the pin. The commentators wondered about Semsei&#8217;s Daredevil-style ability to hit those finishing moves while blinded. Solid match.<\/p>\n<p><i>Semsei defeated Nasir Dey at 6:17.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0<b>Max Castellanos<\/b>\u00a0came to the ring, joined by Ms. Alexa. He has his newly won ROW Title belt over his shoulder. A woman interviewed Max, but it was rather inaudible. He was presented with his own brand of cigars! We can hear now, and Max started by shouting at the crowd, &#8220;I told you so!&#8221;\u00a0<b>Jay Alexander<\/b>\u00a0(seriously comparable to Bron Breakker but shorter) came to the ring. A commentator noted that Jay is &#8220;jacked.&#8221; He told Max that his title reign might end tonight&#8230; because Jay has a title shot tonight!\u00a0They started brawling, and Max scampered to the back.<\/p>\n<p>* Backstage, NWA Women&#8217;s champion &#8220;<b>La Princesa&#8221; Tiffany Nieves<\/b>\u00a0has arrived! She&#8217;s with\u00a0<b>Greta<\/b>, the massive 18-year-old I recently saw on an NWA taping. Those two barged into the women&#8217;s locker room, argued with some of the women already there, and before you know it, a tag match was set for later.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. &#8220;La Princesa&#8221; Tiffany Nieves and Greta vs. &#8220;Lady Bird&#8221; Monica Monroe and Jazmin Allure.<\/b>\u00a0Greta is a legit 6&#8217;0&#8243;, and she&#8217;s built like a linebacker! Monroe and Nieves locked up, as the commentators noted it was the NWA champion against the ROW champion. Jazmin hit a basement dropkick in the corner on Nieves. Greta entered at 2:00, and the commentators said she&#8217;s 6&#8217;6&#8243; &#8212; that may be an exaggeration, but she&#8217;s BIG. She knocked Monroe down with one big boot!<\/p><div id=\"prowr-484422552\" class=\"prowr-content-4 prowr-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: prowrestling_incontent_2 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"prowrestling_incontent_2\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\", slotId: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Greta executed a Castagnoli-style Giant Swing. She put Monroe over her shoulder and shook her, then dropped her.\u00a0Greta slammed teammate Nieves onto Monroe for a nearfall at 3:30. Monroe crawled to her corner to tag out, but Jazmin stepped off the apron and refused to tag in! She walked out on Monroe! Nieves hit a Pedigree on\u00a0Monica!\u00a0Greta got back in and hit a huge Chokeslam for the pin!<\/p>\n<p><i>Tiffany Nieves and Greta defeated &#8220;Lady Bird&#8221; Monica Monroe and Jazmin Allure at 4:23.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Allure got back into the ring, stood over Monica, and said she didn&#8217;t come here to make friends or be a tag partner &#8230; she wants Monroe&#8217;s title! She stomped on Monica and left.<\/p>\n<p>* In a backstage video,\u00a0<b>AJ Francis<\/b>\u00a0said he&#8217;s in his studio working on his next album. He challenged\u00a0<u>Big Luther<\/u>\u00a0to a match on the next live show on Sept. 26. Francis said he wants it to be a steel cage match. Footage aired from some of his TNA cage matches! (I like that TNA allowed that.)<\/p>\n<p><b>3. Big Luther vs.\u00a0Jossiah Jean (w\/Tianna Sway).<\/b>\u00a0Luther carried his ROW Glory Title belt to the ring, but this was not announced as a title match. Jean rolled to the floor to confer with Sway. The commentators noted that Jean was invited to a WWE tryout (he was at the Minneapolis tryout over SummerSlam week). Again, I compare the raw, powerhouse Luther to a young Keith Lee. Jean slapped him in the face! Luther responded with a hip toss. Jean went for a spin kick, but Luther caught the leg and slammed Jean to the mat at 2:00.<\/p>\n<p>Jossiah raked the eyes and got a nearfall. Luther hit a World&#8217;s Strongest Slam, and he clotheslined Jean to the floor. Jean shoved him into the ring post, and they brawled at ringside. Jean wrapped Luther&#8217;s leg around the ring post and slammed his knee against the metal. In the ring, Jean hit a DDT for a nearfall at 5:30. However, Luther hit a &#8220;Louisiana Launch&#8221; Chokebomb out of nowhere for the pin. Solid match.<\/p>\n<p><i>Big Luther defeated Jossiah Jean at 6:10.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Next up is a &#8220;<u><b>Gold Rush Gauntlet<\/b><\/u>.&#8221; The rules were read but I didn&#8217;t understand them.\u00a0It&#8217;s a tag gauntlet? OKAY, the tag teams are being randomly drawn. There are 10 total guys (five tag teams) involved in this.<\/p>\n<p><b>4a. Ori Gold and Baby Keef vs. Blake Troop and Buck Gator.<\/b>\u00a0Blake is a heel; everyone else is a babyface. Blake and Buck argued before even making it to the ring, and Blake turned and left! Gator chased him to the back and coaxed him to return to the ring and compete! Blake warned him not to &#8220;mess this up.&#8221; Ori and Buck opened. Blake made a blind tag to get in.\u00a0Keef made his own blind tag so he could lock up with Troop. Blake is a legit MMA guy, and he easily threw the slender Keef to the mat at 1:30. The commentators noted that Keef has been training at The Dungeon with Nattie.<\/p>\n<p>Keef hit a flying forearm on Buck. Ori got in and traded blows with Gator. Keef hit a top-rope crossbody block for a nearfall on Gator at 3:30. Keef missed a Swanton Bomb. Blake got the hot tag, and he hit a Pump Kick to Ori&#8217;s sternum that sent him flying! Troop hit a powerslam on Keef, then a straight punch to the jaw for the pin!<\/p><div id=\"prowr-3180422647\" class=\"prowr-content-5 prowr-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: prowrestling_incontent_3 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"prowrestling_incontent_3\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"prowrestling_incontent_3\", slotId: \"prowrestling_incontent_3\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p><i>Blake Troop and Buck Gator defeated Ori Gold and Baby Keef at 5:36.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>4b. Blake Troop and Buck Gator vs. Hadar Horvitz and\u00a0Action Braxton.\u00a0<\/b>Hadar is Ori&#8217;s usual tag partner. Braxton is a regular at FSW in Las Vegas; I haven&#8217;t seen him here in a while. Right on cue, the commentators said it&#8217;s been more than a year since Braxton has been in ROW. We did get a bell to start this leg of the gauntlet. Braxton opened against Blake. Hadar tagged in and hit a series of chops, but Blake scooped him up and bodyslammed him. Hadar and Braxton took turns striking Blake in a corner. Braxton made a blind tag in!<\/p>\n<p>Hadar stomped on Blake&#8217;s left knee and worked him over. The crowd chanted, &#8220;We want Buck!&#8221; Hadar hit a DDT for a nearfall at 3:30. Blake hit a suplex on Braxton. Gator finally got the hot tag, and he hit some clotheslines. (He really reminds me of a 20-year-old Chuck Taylor, when I first saw him in IWA Mid-South.) Gator and Blake hit stereo suplexes. Gator hit a twisting brainbuster and pinned Hadar!<\/p>\n<p><i>Blake Troop and Buck Gator defeated Hadar Horvitz and\u00a0Action Braxton at 6:13.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>4c.\u00a0Blake Troop and Buck Gator vs. Erik Lockhart and Will Allday.\u00a0<\/b>Allday jumped in and hit a\u00a0huracanrana,\u00a0and Lockhart went for a cover on Gator. Lockhart hit a running neckbreaker for a nearfall. Allday hit a flying elbow drop for a nearfall at 3:00, as they kept Gator in their corner since this mini-match started. Erik hit a dropkick for a nearfall. Troop finally got in and hit a stiff kick to Lockhart&#8217;s spine. Erik slammed Troop&#8217;s knee into the mat and worked the leg.<\/p>\n<p>Erik applied a half crab at 5:30, but Troop slammed Lockhart&#8217;s body into the mat to escape.\u00a0Troop hit a gutwrench suplex, and\u00a0they were both\u00a0down. Gator and Allday tagged back in. Allday hit a flying forearm and a splash in the corner. Gator was bleeding from his mouth. Allday hit a top-rope flying forearm at 7:00. Buck blocked a superkick and got a rollup, but Lockhart jumped in, rolled them both over so Allday was on top, and Will scored the flash pin!<\/p>\n<p><i>Erik Lockhart and Will Allday defeated\u00a0<\/i><i>Blake Troop and Buck Gator at 7:11.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>4d. Erik Lockhart and Will Allday vs. Terrale Tempo and Cameron Cole.\u00a0<\/b>Cole has been teaming with Allday recently! They shook hands at the bell, but then Tempo attacked Allday from behind, and he worked over Allday.\u00a0Lockhart hit a running kick to the back of Tempo&#8217;s head at 1:30, then a flying forearm and a leaping Flatliner for a nearfall. Cam Cole got back in and traded offense with Lockhart. Cole hit a backbreaker over his knee for a nearfall.<\/p>\n<p>Allday tagged in and traded friendly reversals with his usual tag partner Cole. Allday hit a dropkick, but Tempo made a blind tag in, and he hit a kick on Will. Tempo hit a suplex at 4:30 and posed, which allowed Allday to hit a leaping neckbreaker. Cam and Lockhart tagged in, with Cole hitting a back-body drop, then a Roderick-style gutbuster over his knees for a nearfall. Cole hit a Lungblower to Will&#8217;s chest! Lockhart hit a stunner on Cole.<\/p>\n<p>Lockhart dove to the floor onto his opponents at 6:00, then Allday dove onto all three!\u00a0In the ring, Tempo hit a low blow on Allday! That angered Cole. Tempo ordered Cole to strike Allday, but Cole instead punched Tempo! Lockhart snuck up behind Cole, rolled him up\u00a0with\u00a0a handful of tights, and scored the pin. Cam Cole &#8220;tried to do the right thing&#8221;\u00a0and not punch\u00a0his usual partner.<\/p>\n<p><i>Erik Lockhart and Will Allday defeated Terrale Tempo and Cameron Cole at 7:12 to win the gauntlet.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Backstage, Taylor interviewed Jesse Funaki, as he had his belt over his shoulder. Funaki looked into the camera and said he&#8217;s not the same wrestler he was two years ago, and he&#8217;s confident he can beat Chandler Hopkins tonight.<\/p>\n<p><b>5. Jesse Funaki\u00a0vs. Chandler Hopkins for the ROW Legacy Title.<\/b> Again, Chandler&#8217;s a cowboy\u00a0, but he\u00a0looks a LOT like Jay White does today. A clean lockup and standing switches; they appear\u00a0to be roughly the same size. Funaki hit a dropkick, then a flip dive over the ropes to the floor at 1:30. He pushed Hopkins into the ring and got a nearfall. Jesse hit some chops and was in charge early on.<\/p>\n<p>Chandler hit an Orton-style DDT out of the ropes at 3:00, then some chops.\u00a0Funaki hit a twisting Flatliner at 4:30 and a leaping bulldog for a nearfall. Hopkins made a cover, but the\u00a0ref\u00a0was a bit slow to\u00a0get there, and\u00a0Chandler only got a two-count. Funaki hit a jumping knee for the pin. Merely okay; this was on the low end of expectations from these two, and definitely should have been longer.<\/p>\n<p><i>Jesse Funaki defeated Chandler Hopkins to retain the ROW Legacy Title at 5:24.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Backstage, Taylor interviewed\u00a0<b>Jay Davis.<\/b> (Jay reminds me of a young Shelton Benjamin.) He&#8217;s confident he can beat Ajaxx tonight!<\/p>\n<p><b>6. Ajaxx vs. Jay Davis.<\/b> Ajaxx is a cocky, tall white kid in a blue-and-black singlet. They locked up, and Jay slammed him to the mat. Ajaxx hit a Bionic Elbow, but Davis hit a belly-to-belly suplex. They brawled to the floor at 2:00. Ajaxx hit a snap suplex onto the thin mat on the floor! He rolled Davis into the ring and got a nearfall. Davis hit a German Suplex, then another. Ajaxx hit a half-nelson suplex and a running knee for a nearfall at 3:30.<\/p>\n<p>Ajaxx hit a dropkick for a nearfall. He hit a chop block on the knee at 5:00. However, Jay hit another German Suplex for a believable nearfall. He applied an ankle lock; Ajaxx started to crawl towards the ropes. However, Davis dropped to the mat while still holding the ankle lock, and Ajaxx tapped out. Davis is definitely one to watch here.<\/p>\n<p><i>Jay Davis defeated Ajaxx at 5:47.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Backstage, Taylor interviewed\u00a0<b>Joe Alonzo<\/b>, and she noted he was just signed to a TNA deal. He is not concerned about facing\u00a0<u>Zack Mason<\/u>. &#8220;You are looking at the new face of Reality of Wrestling,&#8221; Joe said.<\/p>\n<p><b>7. Joe Alonzo vs. Zack Mason.<\/b>\u00a0Zack looks great and has a muscle mass advantage. They locked up, and Mason threw Joe to the mat. Joe applied a headlock. Mason hit a dropkick for a nearfall at 1:00. Joe took control and hit his springboard double axe handle for a nearfall. Alonzo hit a snap suplex for a nearfall at 2:30. Zack fired up and hit some back elbows and a suplex, then a Gory Bomb at 4:30.<\/p>\n<p>Joe hit a superkick, but Mason hit a decapitating clothesline that sent Joe to the floor to regroup.\u00a0Zack hit a dive over the ropes onto Joe. However,\u00a0<b>Will Austin<\/b>\u00a0appeared out of nowhere, struck Mason, and threw him into the ring. Alonzo immediately hit a Pedigree for the tainted pin. A merely okay match; everything has been really short tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Alonzo defeated Zack Mason at 5:55.<\/p>\n<p><b>8. Max Castellanos (w\/Ms. Alexa) vs. Jay Alexander for the ROW Title.<\/b>\u00a0Jay hit a splash into the corner and a dive onto Max. Max whipped him shoulder-first into the corner at 1:00. Max tied Jay in the Tree of Woe, and he pulled back on Jay&#8217;s head, and he got a nearfall. Max hit a Lungblower to the back for a nearfall. Max stood over Jay and cranked on his neck. He paused to take a puff from his cigar.<\/p>\n<p>However, Jay hit a superkick and some clotheslines. He nailed a running powerslam at 4:00, but Max rolled to the floor to avoid a pin.\u00a0Jay followed. Ms. Alexa got between them. Jay picked her up and set her aside. She immediately pretended she had an ankle injury. While the ref checked on her, Max hit a low blow, and he shoved Jay into the ring steps. They got back into the ring, where Max hit a swinging uranage for the tainted pin.<\/p>\n<p><i>Max Castellanos defeated Jay Alexander to retain the ROW Title at 5:33.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Final Thoughts:<\/b> A merely okay show. ROW didn&#8217;t use any NXT or WWE ID talents tonight, and that was a bit disappointing. Some of their top names (Danny Limelight, Zilla Fatu) didn&#8217;t wrestle. Luther, Castellanos, and Monica Monroe are all good choices to lead this roster. I still generally like the wrestlers here, but the matches were on the short side tonight, and nothing stood out as really must-see.<\/p>\n<p>It was nice seeing Nieves here, and her new henchman, Greta, is pretty awesome. Again, she&#8217;s not heavy&#8230; she&#8217;s just BIG. Again, I don&#8217;t think she&#8217;s really 6&#8217;6&#8243; but she is definitely over 6&#8217;0&#8243;. I really don&#8217;t like gauntlets, and this one was a bit of a miss for me.\u00a0The show clocked in at 2 hours, 10 minutes<\/p>\n<div id=\"prowr-3957974557\" class=\"prowr-after-content
