I have watched a lot of Progress Wrestling in the past two years, but there are a lot of UK wrestlers here that I barely know.<\/p>\n<p>* The show opened with a video package highlighting some of the key matches on this show.<\/p>\n<p>* To the arena! It&#8217;s packed. Production is pretty good. I can&#8217;t see the crowd, but they are loud. (<i>In the first match, the commentators said more than 4,000 people are here,\u00a0and it&#8217;s the largest crowd to ever see a Rev Pro show.<\/i>)<\/p>\n<p><b>Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta defeated Leland Bryant and Zander Bryant in a pre-show match at 10:43<\/b>, according to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cagematch.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/cagematch.netandsource=gmailandust=1788459796704000andusg=AOvVaw0Un5puD9KJowS9jxAB1hzA\">cagematch.net<\/a>. I was hoping this would get included, but it was not.<\/p>\n<p>* The opening match was SUPPOSED to have been an eight-man tag. HOWEVER,\u00a0<b>Sha Samuels<\/b>\u00a0(who has a wide frame and routinely competed in NXT-UK) came to the ring, saying he has been reinstated, and he demanded to turn this into a 10-man tag. But the babyfaces only have four guys! The heels attacked, and I started the stopwatch. Thirty seconds in,\u00a0<b>Will Ospreay&#8217;s<\/b>\u00a0music played, and the crowd went\u00a0<i><b>NUTS<\/b><\/i>! He&#8217;s joining the babyfaces! &#8220;Twenty-four hours from the biggest match of his career!&#8221; a commentator shouted. (<i>Yes, I knew Ospreay was in this match &#8212; one of the reasons I bought the show<\/i>!)<\/p>\n<p><b>1. Will Ospreay and\u00a0 &#8220;Close Personal Friends&#8221; Callum Newman, Joe Lando, Danny Black, and Maverick Mayhew vs. Kieron Lacey, Mark Trew, Ricky Knight Jr., Sha Samuels, and Will Kaven.<\/b> Lando styles himself after Amazing Red &#8212; same height and build, same wrestling style. I&#8217;ve maybe seen Mayhew, Trew, Lacey, and Kaven once or twice, but none made a strong impression. The CPF quartet all wore identical white jumpsuits to the ring, but all wore identical pink trunks. Ospreay and the four CPF guys slid into the ring at 2:00, and all 10 brawled. The commentators said they were &#8220;yards away&#8221; from Wembley Stadium. (I presumed they were close).<\/p>\n<p>Lando hit a standing moonsault. Callum ran the ropes to pick up speed and he hit his running Mafia Kick at 4:00. Ricky Knight Jr. (think MJF) hit a kick on Callum. (<i>The commentators keep referring to him only as &#8220;RKJ&#8221; today. It&#8217;s been a while since I&#8217;ve seen him, so I guess he&#8217;s going by that now.<\/i>) RKJ hit a delayed vertical suplex on Black for a nearfall at 8:00. Two guys brawled in the ring, but it&#8217;s really dark and hard to see outside the ring. The heels continued working over Danny Black. Joe Lando finally got a hot tag. Kaven (long reddish hair) entered and battled Lando at 10:30.<\/p>\n<p>Lando nailed a top-rope Shooting Star Press to the floor on the heels. In the ring, Mayhew hit a neckbreaker over his knee on Kaven. They hit stereo kicks and were both down at 12:00. Ospreay finally entered, and he hit a handspring-back-double elbow, then a jumping powerbomb for a nearfall. Will set up for a Hidden Blade, but someone grabbed his ankle. Sha hit a spinebuster on Ospreay. Everyone started hitting finishers. Lando hit a kip-up stunner. Danny Black hit a Styles Bomb.<\/p><div id=\"prowr-833909091\" class=\"prowr-content-4 prowr-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: prowrestling_incontent_2 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"prowrestling_incontent_2\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\", slotId: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Kaven hit a Dragon Suplex. Callum entered and hit a hard clothesline. He hit a German Suplex on Knight, but RKJ hit a Rikishi Driver. Ospreay hit his heel hook kick to Knight&#8217;s face, but Ricky ducked the Hidden Blade! Newman put a tiny heel (<i>either Lacey or Trew<\/i>) on his shoulders and hit a swinging uranage to the mat. Ospreay immediately hit the Hidden Blade for the pin! Fun action and quite an opener.<\/p>\n<p><i>Will Ospreay and\u00a0 &#8220;Close Personal Friends&#8221; Callum Newman, Joe Lando, Danny Black, and Maverick Mayhew defeated Kieron Lacey, Mark Trew, Ricky Knight Jr., Sha Samuels, and Will Kaven at 16:03\/official time of 14:04.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Ospreay got on the mic and said he simply could not miss being part of this big show for Rev Pro. He spoke to Callum Newman in the ring (no one else was around), and he asked Callum to join him for his match on Sunday. (<i>NOTE: I had read about this verbal exchange Saturday night, and I was genuinely fearful that Callum was going to cause Ospreay to lose to Omega. I&#8217;m glad that never came to fruition.<\/i>) Callum teased he was walking out, but then he hugged Ospreay. Ospreay&#8217;s full song played so the crowd could sing him off as he walked up the ramp and celebrated on the stage with them. A cool way to close out the first match.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Luke Jacobs (w\/Ethan Allen) vs. Pac (w\/Marina Shafir). <\/b>Jacobs certainly models his style after Bryan Danielson and was the Progress champion for a long time. Pac sent Marina to the back before the bell.\u00a0This crowd was HOT. Standing switches and a feeling-out process early on as they twisted each other&#8217;s left arms.\u00a0Jacobs hit a senton for a nearfall at 4:30. Jacobs held Pac upside down for a bit and hit a brainbuster. Pac hit a back-body drop.<\/p>\n<p>Jacobs threw him into a corner and hit some chops, then a spinebuster at 8:30. Pac hit a release belly-to-belly superplex. They got up at 11:00 and traded forearm strikes. Jacobs suplexed him into the corners, but Pac hit a release overhead throw into the turnbuckles, and both were down at 12:30. They traded forearm strikes on the ring apron. Pac hit a German Suplex on the ring apron at 14:00! In the ring, Pac hit a Poison Rana and a leaping powerbomb for a nearfall. He immediately tied Jacobs in a Rings of Saturn, but Jacobs got a foot on the ropes.<\/p>\n<p>Jacobs hit a decapitating clothesline and a Tiger Driver (flipping powerbomb) for a nearfall at 16:30. Pac got a backslide for a nearfall and he again went for a Rings of Saturn, but Jacobs blocked it, and Luke applied his own Rings of Saturn! They traded rollups. Jacobs nailed a flying headbutt. Jacobs hit a hard forearm strike and a piledriver for a believable nearfall; I thought that was it. Jacobs hit a clothesline. He locked in a sleeper on the mat in the center of the ring. Pac passed out! &#8220;An enormous win for the young gun!&#8221; a commentator shouted.<\/p>\n<p><i>Luke Jacobs defeated Pac at 18:56.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>3. Kay Lee Ray\u00a0vs. Myla Grace vs. Emersyn Jayne vs. Cory Zero vs. Lucy Sky vs. Rhio in a scramble to become No. 1 contender.<\/b> My first time seeing Lucy Sky; she&#8217;s a thick powerhouse in a shiny blue one-piece; think Jordynne Grace but taller. I&#8217;ve seen Zero a few times recently, and she&#8217;s a striker; think U.S. indy wrestler Janai Kai. All six brawled at the bell; no tags. Rhio and Sky immediately traded forearm strikes. Rhio hit a suplex on Zero, then a shotgun dropkick. Grace was brawling on the floor; it was too dark to see her opponent.<\/p>\n<p>Jayne hit a huracanrana at 1:30, then a double springboard crossbody block. Grace hit a back suplex. Myla tied Emersyn in the ropes and hit a double stomp on her. Kay Lee Ray dropped Grace with a hard slap. Zero nailed a Poison Rana on Kay Lee at 4:00. Jayne suggested to Rhio they should form an alliance, but Kay Lee Ray hit a double DDT on them. Grace hit a double Crucifix Driver! Nice! Zero and Grace each applied a submission hold; Myla released her hold and attacked Cory.<\/p>\n<p>Sky hit a German Suplex on Jayne. Rhio hit a neckbreaker over her knee on Myla at 6:30. Jayne hit a piledriver along her back on Sky for a nearfall. Zero put Kay Lee in a Torture Rack and spun her into a powerbomb for a nearfall. Sky tied Zero in a Tree of Woe and stomped on her. Rhio hit a package piledriver on Sky. Grace threw Rhio to the floor and tried to steal the pin on Sky! Rhio pulled the ref to the floor! Jayne hit her sliding German Suplex.<\/p><div id=\"prowr-3793074780\" class=\"prowr-content-5 prowr-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: prowrestling_incontent_3 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"prowrestling_incontent_3\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"prowrestling_incontent_3\", slotId: \"prowrestling_incontent_3\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Some women fought on the floor &#8212; it was too dark to see it. Zero hit a top-rope moonsault onto several women at 9:00. In the ring, Sky hit a spear on Rhio. Grace struck Sky in the back with a kendo stick, but it had no effect, and the crowd chanted, &#8220;You f&#8212;ed up!&#8221; at Myla. Grace hit a decapitating clothesline and a Michinoku Driver to pin Myla! Good action with a surprising winner. Don&#8217;t bet on pro wrestling!<\/p>\n<p><i>Lucy Sky defeated Kay Lee Ray, Myla Grace, Emersyn Jayne, Cory Zero, and Rhio at 10:01 to become No. 1 contender<\/i><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>4. Leyton Buzzard (w\/James Ellis, Josh Holly) vs. Nino Bryant for the British Cruiserweight Title.<\/b>\u00a0I might have seen Buzzard once, but I&#8217;m largely unfamiliar with him. I don&#8217;t know Nino, either. He&#8217;s white with short, curly black hair. Leyton has short blond hair and a really good physique. The commentators noted that Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) and Michael Oku have held this belt. (<i>A quick check of my emails shows I saw Leyton compete in Black Label Pro in Indiana in 2023, and I wrote then that he looks like a young Dolph Ziggler. That held true three years later<\/i>!)<\/p>\n<p>A basic back-and-forth to open.\u00a0From the floor, heel henchman Josh Holly hit Nino, allowing Leyton to take control. Leyton hit a superplex at 3:30, then a clothesline for a nearfall. Buzzard feigned an injury and was checked on by the ref and the medic; James Ellis and Josh Holly attacked Nino. Nino dove through the ropes onto the henchmen. Buzzard hit a Tombstone Piledriver on the floor at 7:00. He rolled back into the ring and ordered the ref to start counting out Nino!<\/p>\n<p>The commentators were disgusted that Leyton would try to win via count-out on the biggest show of the year.\u00a0Nino got back in, and\u00a0he\u00a0brawled with Leyton. Nino hit a running boot for a nearfall. One of the\u00a0henchmen\u00a0hit Nino with a cast. Buzzard immediately hit a sidewalk slam for a nearfall at 9:30. He went to the floor and grabbed his title belt. The henchmen again attacked Nino\u00a0as\u00a0the ref was confiscating the belt. Nino hit a frog splash\u00a0on Nino\u00a0for a nearfall. The ref\u00a0<i>finally<\/i> ejected the myrmidons.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Bryant brothers<\/b>\u00a0(who competed in that dark match) ran to ringside and brawled with the lackeys to the back.\u00a0Leyton went for a low blow, but Nino blocked it. Nino hit a frog splash for a nearfall at 11:30. Buzzard applied a\u00a0front\u00a0guillotine choke on the mat; Nino rolled over and got a nearfall. Nino hit another frog splash. He went for a third frog splash, but Nino caught him and re-applied the front guillotine choke,\u00a0and Nino\u00a0passed out. Okay match.<\/p>\n<p><i>Leyton Buzzard defeated Nino Bryant to retain the British Cruiserweight Title at 12:31.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>5 &#8220;Cowboy Way&#8221; 1 Called Manders and Thomas Shire vs. &#8220;FTR&#8221; Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler\u00a0for the Undisputed British Tag Team Titles.<\/b> (Again, I knew FTR was booked for this show, so I fully expected them to appear at All In the next day.) Manders and Dax opened; they could be twins! (Except Manders is clearly younger). Manders dropped him with a shoulder tackle and got a nearfall at 2:00; Dax rolled to the floor to confer with Cash. Shire has such a massive frame, and he hit some clubbing blows to Wheeler&#8217;s back and kept Cash grounded, choking him in the ropes. A commentator just called Shire &#8220;a big country boy from Texas.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dax got a hot tag at 7:00, and he hit some jab punches on each of the champs. Manders and Dax held each other&#8217;s left wrists while trading chops with their right arm. Dax hit a German Suplex, then another. From the floor, Shire struck Dax in the head with the ring bell! Manders covered Dax for a nearfall at 9:30. Shire got in and hit some European Uppercuts on Dax. Shire hit a leaping piledriver for a nearfall at 11:00. FTR hit the Shatter Machine on Manders for a nearfall, but Shire pulled Dax to the floor! Wheeler dove through the ropes, but Shire caught him with a hard European Uppercut!<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Dax and Manders got up and traded chops and hard slaps to the face! Both had cuts on their foreheads. The sweat was flying off them! Manders nailed his leaping clothesline from his knees for a believable nearfall at 14:30. Shire stood up, and he was bleeding hard, too! Wheeler hit a Doomsday flying Bulldog for a believable nearfall on Manders! Cash dove through the ropes and crashed onto Shire. In the ring, Manders went for the Oklahoma Stampede, but Wheeler made the save.\u00a0FTR again hit the Shatter Machine, and Dax covered Manders for the pin! New champions! Awesome brawl.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;FTR&#8221; Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated\u00a0&#8220;Cowboy Way&#8221; 1 Called Manders and Thomas Shire to win\u00a0the Undisputed British Tag Team Titles at 17:18.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Intermission went 24 minutes. But it was easy to fast-forward over it.\u00a0<i>Well &#8230; it was an intermission for anyone who watched this show on the MyAEW app&#8230;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>6. Leon Slater defeated Liam Slater at 12:50.<\/b>\u00a0This match was not included on the MyAEW stream! A bit disappointing, but I guess the TNA-AEW war means that a match from a different promotion is off-limits. (<i>I hadn&#8217;t paid much attention, but I wonder if a current TNA wrestler&#8217;s matches would be erased from a video of, say, C*4 Wrestling or Limitless Wrestling, who are both putting a lot of their libraries up on the MyAEW app.<\/i>)<\/p>\n<p><b>7. A Revolution Gauntlet match.<\/b> The match had the same rules as AEW&#8217;s Casino Gauntlet &#8212; wrestlers come out at random intervals, and the match ends after the first pin.\u00a0<b>Leon Cage<\/b>\u00a0drew No. 1; he has short brown hair, and he wore a high school letterman jacket. The commentators said he&#8217;s only 19; I don&#8217;t think\u00a0 I&#8217;ve seen him. NJPW star (and Italy native)\u00a0<b>Francesco Akira<\/b>\u00a0drew No. 2! Cage dropkicked Akira as he was trying to enter the ring, then he hit a flip dive onto him. A commentator said he &#8220;knows the names in the hat, but not the particular order.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Akira hit a dive to the floor.\u00a0<b>Robbie X\u00a0<\/b>drew No. 3 at 1:30. Robbie and Akira traded quick kicks, and Robbie hit a running Shooting Star Press for a nearfall. Leon hit a top-rope flying huracanrana.\u00a0<b>Drilla Moloney<\/b>\u00a0drew No. 4 at 3:30; another NJPW regular! (Dan Moloney also briefly competed in NXT-UK.) Akira left the ring, charged up the entrance aisle, and brawled with Moloney. In the ring, Drilla hit a DVD on Akira. Drilla and Robbie confronted each other, and a commentator noted they are faction partners. Drilla dropkicked him.<\/p>\n<p><b>Gabe Kidd<\/b>\u00a0drew No. 5 at 5:30, and he had his title belt with him. He threw it aside as he marched to the ring. Kidd and Drilla traded forearm strikes and chops.\u00a0<b>Isaac Murray<\/b> was No. 6; I had never seen him before. He&#8217;s scrawny with long, shaggy blond hair. (At first glance, I thought it was Avery Styles. Same young facial features.) Murray dove into the ring and tried to steal a pin.\u00a0<b>David Francisco<\/b>\u00a0was No. 7; I don&#8217;t know him. He has long black, wet hair and immediately reminded me of indy star Channing Thomas.\u00a0<b>Josh James<\/b>\u00a0was No. 8 at 10:00; I don&#8217;t know him, but he has a wide frame.<\/p>\n<p>Josh James hit a big Pounce on Murray, then some powerbombs.\u00a0<b>Henare<\/b>\u00a0was No. 9; another NJPW guy! He carried two belts with him and dropped them as he marched to the ring. Henare and Josh James immediately traded forearm strikes. Wow, Josh James is big! Josh hit some big shoulder blocks. Drilla and Kidd each hit a German Suplex on Josh and Henare, then those two resumed brawling! Kidd hit a rebound lariat, but Drilla hit a Gore!\u00a0<b>JJ Gale<\/b>\u00a0was No. 10 at 14:00. Gale has really short blond hair, and he wore blue trunks. I&#8217;ve seen him at least once. Gale hit a flip dive to the floor onto several guys.<\/p>\n<p>In the ring, Leon Cage jumped on Josh James&#8217; back and tried a sleeper.\u00a0<b>Cameron Khai<\/b>\u00a0was No. 11 at 17:00; the commentators said he&#8217;s &#8220;coming off the match of his life against Bandido.&#8221; Cameron hit a Northern Lights Suplex on Robbie X. He hit a double Northern Lights Suplex for a nearfall. JJ Gale hit a Canadian Destroyer on Khai.\u00a0<b>TK Cooper<\/b>\u00a0from &#8220;The Sunshine Machine&#8221; was No. 12 at 19:00. TK got in and hit an Exploder Suplex. Kidd attacked Cooper from behind. Cooper hit a hard headbutt on Murray for a nearfall.<\/p>\n<p>Henare hit a Samoan Drop. Henare and Cooper traded headbutts, then hugged! TK tied Josh James in a Trailer Hitch leg lock. The crowd went nuts for some familiar music as <b>Jeff Jarrett<\/b>\u00a0was No. 13 at 21:30! &#8220;The last outlaw! Double J is here in Rev Pro!&#8221; a commentator shouted. &#8220;I never had this on my bingo card!&#8221; Jarrett got in the ring and hit some punches on several guys. He tried to get Drilla to do the Fargo Strut with him. &#8220;I&#8217;m not sure that&#8217;s in the personality of Drilla,&#8221; a commentator said. But they did the Strut together.<\/p>\n<p>Jarrett hit the Stroke on Cooper! Robbie X hit a Lethal Injection. Henare hit a flying headbutt. JJ and Murray hit stereo superkicks on Henare. Josh James hit a brainbuster on Murray. Gale hit a springboard stunner. David Francisco hit a uranage. Leon Cage hit a top-rope moonsault onto several guys on the floor. Robbie X hit a springboard twisting dive onto several guys on the floor. In the ring, TK hit a top-rope Shooting Star Press on David Francisco, and he locked in a Trailer Hitch! Drilla Moloney hit the Drilla Killa (swinging piledriver) and got a pin! The pin happened\u00a0<i>just seconds before<\/i>\u00a0David Francisco tapped out to TK Cooper&#8217;s Trailer Hitch! That was wild fun.<\/p>\n<p><i>Drilla Moloney won the 13-man Revolution Gauntlet at 27:52.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* A band got on the stage, and they played<b>\u00a0Zack Sabre Jr.<\/b>\u00a0to the ring.<\/p>\n<p><b>8. Zack Sabre Jr. vs Jay Joshua.<\/b> The commentators said Jay Joshua requested this match. Again, Jay has a big, wide frame and I&#8217;ve compared him to Bear Bronson. They tied up on the mat and had a standoff. Sabre hit some European Uppercuts; Joshua hit some chops, then a powerslam at 1:30. Jay hit an Irish Whip, then more chops in the corner. Sabre snapped Jay&#8217;s left arm, then immediately stomped on the elbow at 3:00. Sabre tied up the left arm and kept Joshua grounded. He hit a series of European Uppercuts in the corner, but Joshua hit a spinebuster at 5:30.<\/p>\n<p>Joshua hit a DVD, then a gut-wrench suplex. He hit a superplex at 7:30, and they were both down. Joshua started with some soft forearm strikes, but he picked up the speed and intensity, then hit a German Suplex. Sabre hopped up and hit a running Penalty Kick, and they were both down at 9:30. They tied up on the mat. Sabre went to an Octopus Stretch at 12:00, but dropped to the mat and stretched Joshua. Jay got a foot on the ropes. Jay hit a clothesline and a sliding forearm strike for a nearfall.<\/p>\n<p>Sabre got a rollup with a high bridge for a nearfall. Jay caught him with a knee lift to the ribs. Sabre caught him with the Zack Driver for a nearfall, and he immediately switched to a cross-armbreaker at 14:30. He turned it into a Triangle Choke, but Jay hit a powerbomb to escape, and they were both down again. Jay hit a leaping headbutt, then a twisting piledriver for a believable nearfall. Jay hit a clothesline for the pin! &#8220;Jay Joshua just got the biggest win of his professional wrestling career, oh my god!&#8221; a commentator shouted.<\/p>\n<p><i>Jay Joshua defeated Zack Sabre Jr. at 16:30.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* A video aired for our next match.<\/p>\n<p><b>9. Alexxis Falcon (w\/Skye Smitson, Jackson) vs.\u00a0Kanji\u00a0for the British Women&#8217;s Title.<\/b> Almost immediately, Kanji hit a Sabre-style neck-snap between her ankles, then a Helluva Kick! Smitson tripped Kanji, allowing Falcon to take control. Alexxis hit a fallaway slam for a nearfall at 2:00, and she choked Kanji in the ropes. She made some lewd and crude gestures towards the crowd. (Not a family show!) Falcon hit a stiff kick to the spine at 3:30, and she playfully kicked at Kanji. Kanji fired back with some kicks to the back.<\/p>\n<p>Alexxis dropped her stomach-first on the ring apron at 7:00, then hit a Falcon Arrow for a nearfall. Kanji hit a running Penalty Kick to the chest and a dropkick to the back, a nd she locked in an Octopus Stretch on the mat. Alexxis hit the &#8220;Falcon Fury&#8221; (Sister Abigail) for a believable nearfall at 9:30. Falcon accidentally kicked the ref, and he was down. Skye Smitson jumped in the ring, but she accidentally struck Falcon with the belt! Meanwhile, Jackson was arguing with Kanji&#8217;s trainer in the front row, so Kanji struck Jackson.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the ring, Kanji hit a Hidden Blade on Alexxis at 12:00. Kanji snapped Falcon&#8217;s fingers, mounted her, and repeatedly punched Alexxis. The ref got up and pulled her off Falcon. Alexxis was bleeding from the forehead. Kanji applied a rear-naked choke on the mat. Alexxis hit the &#8220;Off With Her Head&#8221; swinging faceplant out of the ropes for a believable nearfall at 13:30, and the crowd popped for the kickout. We got a loud, &#8220;Let&#8217;s go, Kanji!&#8221; chant. Kanji hit a Hidden Blade to the back of the head for the pin! New champion!<\/p>\n<p><i>Kanji defeated Alexxis Blade to win the Undisputed British Women&#8217;s Title at 14:31.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>* Will Ospreay\u00a0<\/b>joined commentary!<\/p>\n<p><b>10. Michael Oku (w\/Amira Blair) vs. Connor Mills for the Rev Pro Undisputed British Title.<\/b>\u00a0I&#8217;ve compared Mills to recently retired indy wrestler Kevin Blackwood; he&#8217;s lanky and strong. The bell rang, and they immediately traded forearm strikes. Mills hit a bodyslam, with Oku&#8217;s legs striking the ropes, at 2:00. Mills stomped on Oku and kept him grounded. Oku got up, and he was bleeding from his forehead. Connor was also bleeding. They fought to the floor. Amira tried to pull Oku back, but Oku brushed past her and punched Mills some more.<\/p>\n<p>They got back into the ring at 5:30, and Mills had significant blood loss now. Mills rolled to the floor, and some medics were checking on him and cleaning him up. Oku shouted some profanities, demanding the ref count out Connor.\u00a0Mills got in the ring with a bandage around his temple. They traded punches. Connor&#8217;s whole chest was red. He hit a running dropkick, then a basement dropkick, in the corner at 7:30, then a Tiger Suplex. Connor tied him up, but Oku got a toe on the ropes. Mills applied an Ankle Lock. Oku applied his half-crab (his finisher!)<\/p>\n<p>They got up and traded spin kicks to the thighs. The commentators noted it&#8217;s &#8220;hard to tell whose blood is whose.&#8221; Mills caught him with a hard knee strike, but Oku hit a Dragonscrew Legwhip at 9:30. They got to their knees and traded slaps. They got up, and Mills hit a series of blows that dropped Oku. However, Michael grabbed a leg and re-applied the half-crab! Mills escaped and applied his own half-crab. Mills hit a Rebound Lariat. He popped Oku in the air and hit a punt kick on him as Michael came down and got a nearfall at 12:00.<\/p>\n<p>On the floor, Mills hit a Tower of London stunner from the apron to the floor! He threw Michael back into the ring and peppered him with more kicks. Oku fired back with a DDT on the ring apron at 15:00, then an Asai Moonsault to the floor. (Again, lighting wasn&#8217;t ideal and I couldn&#8217;t see everything, but apparently Oku turned it into a DDT). Oku rolled into the ring. Mills got in, but Oku immediately hit a Lionsault on him, then a Six-Star Frog Splash for a nearfall at 16:30.<\/p>\n<p>Oku hit a second Six-Star Frog Splash! He hit a &#8220;Final Destination&#8221; swinging powerbomb for a nearfall! The crowd popped for the kickout. They fought on the ropes, and Mills hit a Ki Krusher, slamming Oku head-first on the top turnbuckle! Mills applied an ankle lock, and he dragged Oku to the center of the ring! Oku wanted Amira to break it up somehow, but she refused! The commentators said this has to end somehow. Connors applied a leg lock around Oku&#8217;s neck, and Michael tapped out! New champion!<\/p>\n<p><i>Connor Mills defeated Michael Oku to win the Rev Pro Undisputed British Title at 19:29.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Joshua Jay slid into the ring and hugged his teammate Mills. Oku and Amira got into the ring. Oku snatched the belt from Mills, but then put it around Connor&#8217;s waist, and the crowd applauded and chanted, &#8220;You deserve it!&#8221;\u00a0<b>Drilla Moloney<\/b>\u00a0emerged from the back, stood on the stage, and glared at Mills. He&#8217;s got next!<\/p>\n<p><b>Final thoughts<\/b>: A really good show, and I&#8217;m glad I went ahead and purchased it.\u00a0FTR vs. Cowboy Way was easily the best match of the show. The crowd was hot and totally into the action. I liked Pac-Jacobs for second, and the Gauntlet for third. Sabre-Jay earns honorable mention.<\/p>\n<p>No, I didn&#8217;t put the main event in my top four, but it was really good. The blood loss was a bit much for me, and that hurts my ability to enjoy the match. I probably put it a bit higher without that blood loss.<\/p>\n<p>The crowd loved seeing Opsreay in there. He was only in the ring for maybe three minutes and hit just a few of his signature spots (that hook kick to the jaw, the leaping powerbomb, and the Hidden Blade), but the crowd was just thrilled he was part of the show.<\/p>\n<p>* Only a couple of notable names were absent. Man Like DeReiss and Cara Noir competed on Evil Uno&#8217;s &#8220;Mystery Wrestling&#8221; show a day earlier. Those are perhaps my favorite UK wrestlers not on this show; again, I admittedly don&#8217;t know if they are only on Progress shows or compete for both.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll keep my eye out for any shows on MyAEW where a match featuring a TNA-contracted wrestler doesn&#8217;t air. The show clocked in at 4 hours, 40 minutes.
