Dominik was in the parking lot when\u00a0<b>El Grande Americano<\/b>\u00a0attacked him! They brawled into the building, into the arena, down the aisle and to the ring!!! Americano dove through the ropes onto him. Rey Mysterio (who had &#8220;left commentary&#8221; ran over to separate them. Dominik hit a low blow on Americano. Rey shoved Dominik! They glared at each other. Dominik turned and left the ring, but stopped on the entrance ramp.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 A woman provided translation as Americano spoke. He asked Dominik if he will be remembered alongside the legends of lucha libre, like Mil Mascaras or Blue Demon, or his father. No, that won&#8217;t happen, &#8220;because those men gave everything to wrestling.&#8221; But all Dominik has done is &#8220;take away from wrestling.&#8221; A true luchador would fight for his country, and that&#8217;s the difference between them. Americano challenged him to a match at Triple Mania in Mexico City. Dominik turned and left. Good opening segment.<\/p>\n<p><b>1. Rey Fenix vs.\u00a0Noisy Boy for the AAA Cruiserweight Title.<\/b> Noisy Boy is just 23; he wore mostly red with white trim, and like Fenix, wears a mask. Quick lucha reversals at the bell, and Fenix hit a dropkick. Noisy Boy hit a flip dive to the floor at 1:00. In the ring, Noisy Boy came off the top rope, but Fenix caught him with a superkick. Noisy Boy hit a huracanrana.\u00a0Fenix ran on the top rope and kicked Noisy Boy&#8217;s head. Fenix hit a frog splash for a nearfall at 2:30.\u00a0This crowd is hot! (And it doesn&#8217;t sound like fake &#8216;sweetener,&#8217; either.)\u00a0Noisy Boy hit a springboard fadeaway stunner for a nearfall.<\/p>\n<p>Fenix nailed a brainbuster for a believable nearfall. Rey hit a running knee into the corner. He set up for the Mexican Muscle Buster but Noisy Boy escaped. Noisy Boy hit a springboard Poison Rana for a nearfall at 4:30. Graves said he hasn&#8217;t seen that before. Noisy Boy hit a handspring-back-splash for a nearfall. Noisy Boy missed a moonsault. Fenix immediately hit a Meteora in the corner, then he hit the Mexican Muscle Buster for the pin. That was pretty awesome. Noisy Boy dazzled for a second straight week.<\/p>\n<p><i>Rey Fenix defeated\u00a0Noisy Boy to retain the AAA Cruiserweight Title at 5:50.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0<b>Penta&#8217;s<\/b> music played! He came down the ramp and hugged his brother. Rey headed to the back as Penta strutted to the ring (he was <i>not<\/i> dressed to wrestle). Rey now provided translation. Penta said it&#8217;s an honor to be here, but he&#8217;s here to speak about <u>Roman Reigns<\/u>! &#8220;You have never faced a wrestler like Penta, a man who fights every day, to follow his dreams,&#8221; Penta said. &#8220;I&#8217;ve never needed a family or a faction or a group to accomplish all my groups.&#8221; He said he respects Reigns, but when he wins this tournament, he will see Reigns face-to-face in Mexico City!<\/p><div id=\"prowr-2226707171\" class=\"prowr-content-4 prowr-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: prowrestling_incontent_2 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"prowrestling_incontent_2\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\", slotId: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>*\u00a0<b>Karmen Petrovic<\/b>\u00a0strolled to ringside. Corey described her as &#8220;The angel of death.&#8221; The five members (including Karmen) of\u00a0<b>Perros Del Mal<\/b>\u00a0got in the ring! Penta began hugging them!\u00a0<b>Daga<\/b>\u00a0spoke. He said it&#8217;s been seven or eight years since they&#8217;ve shared a ring. He said they conquered every corner of Mexico together. But then they lost. Life today has brought them back together. Daga told him that more than anything today, he needs a family. He said if Penta goes into that war alone, he won&#8217;t win. But he can win if they go into it together.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is about Mexico, this is about us versus them,&#8221; Daga said. &#8220;Roman doesn&#8217;t respect people; he respects power. This is an invitation to return home, so you can return to your family.&#8221; Daga handed Penta a Perros del Mal T-shirt! Penta appeared conflicted and the crowd got loud. Penta replied, &#8220;Let me think about it,&#8221; and he turned and left. Daga told Penta that he only has &#8220;until the end of the night.&#8221; Good segment. Graves and JBL agreed that Daga made good points, as Reigns always has his Bloodline with him.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. La Parka vs. Psycho Clown in a tournament match for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.<\/b>\u00a0They traded shoulder tackles, then they traded armdrags and had a standoff at 1:00. Clown hit a powerslam for a nearfall. La Parka hit a backbreaker over his knee. Clown hit a pop-up elbow strike. La Parka suplexed Clown into the corner, then he hit a Bailey-style corner moonsault to the floor! In the ring, Clown hit a Code Red for a nearfall at 3:00. Clown dove through the ropes onto La Parka.<\/p>\n<p>La Parka hit a top-rope Spanish Fly, and they were both down. La Parka eventually made a cover for a nearfall. La Parka hit a second-rope moonsault at 5:00. He went for a top-rope moonsault, but Clown got his feet up! Clown hit a Canadian Destroyer for a nearfall. La Parka hit a dropkick to the back. Clown exposed the turnbuckle! La Parka hit a stunner. The ref put the turnbuckle pad back on. Clown shoved La Parka into the referee! He hit the Psycho Driver (modified Air Raid Crash). The lights went out at 7:30!!!<\/p>\n<p><b>The scary masked guy in bib overalls<\/b>\u00a0was in the ring when the lights came back on. He repeatedly rammed Clown&#8217;s head into the top turnbuckle. They brawled to the floor, and the unknown guy dropped Clown throat-first onto the guardrail, then shoved him back into the ring. (Again, he looks a lot like Luchasaurus. He&#8217;s tall with dark, stringy hair.) La Parka grabbed the prone Psycho Clown and hit his twisting suplex for the tainted pin. Good action, and I&#8217;m intrigued about who this guy is.<\/p>\n<p><i>La Parka defeated Psycho Clown at 9:06 to advance to the semifinals of the tournament for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>* Backstage, Perros Del Mal approached Penta and asked him if he had made up his mind. Penta said he doesn&#8217;t want any dead weight in his family.\u00a0<b>Bronco Nima<\/b>\u00a0got angry, thinking Penta was referring to him. They agreed to have a match! Penta stormed off with no punches thrown.<\/p>\n<p><b>Final Thoughts:<\/b> Both matches were really good. I was under the incorrect assumption that the finals of the title tournament would be a four-way. So I was confused that La Parka and Psycho Clown were fighting each other to advance to another round.<\/p>\n<p>Noisy Boy is dazzling. Another match where I looked at my stopwatch after it was over and was in disbelief that it wrapped up in under six minutes because they did SO MUCH.<\/p>\n<p>I will forever be amused by how El Grande Americano has seized on being the patriot and defender of all things lucha libre and Mexico. He speaks with such passion, and he&#8217;s so fluent! I&#8217;ve been working a lot on my Spanish in the past year since my youngest son is learning the language through an app, and we work on it together. But I still sound like an elementary student, speaking in broken sentences.
