The following are the WWE-related highlights of the call. Refresh the page for the latest updates.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>-TKO Senior VP of Investor Relations Seth Zaslow read through the legalities.<\/p>\n<p>-CEO Ari Emanuel, President and COO Mark Shapiro, and CFO Andrew Schleimer hosted the call. Emanuel opened with his prepared statements. He touted the UFC event at the White House and TKO&#8217;s involvement in the FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>-Shapiro spoke more about the UFC event at the White House. He also said the numbers on Paramount+ show they made the right call in removing the pay-per-view paywall.<\/p>\n<p>said it&#8217;s all systems go for WWE international shows. He said WrestleMania 42 drew over 142,000 fans. He touted sellout crowds for Saturday Night&#8217;s Main Event. Shapiro said the demand for WWE live events is insatiable. He said they have full autonomy over where they bring their events. He said they took SummerSlam to Minneapolis and spoke positively about the financial incentive package they received, and labeled SummerSlam weekend as extraordinary.<\/p>\n<p>-Shapiro said he wanted to address &#8220;recent chatter&#8221; regarding WWE viewership. He said WWE content has finished in the top ten weekly for Netflix. He touted the viewership success of WWE PLE hours that were simulcast on ESPN and ESPN2. He also put over Smackdown&#8217;s standing in the Friday cable ratings.<\/p>\n<p>-Shapiro also spoke about how live events will hold up well while other areas of entertainment will be affected by AI.<\/p>\n<p>-Schleimer read through the quarterly earnings report. He noted at one point that they are watching for developments in the Middle East, with WWE and UFC events scheduled to be held in the region.<\/p>\n<p>-They opened the phone lines (I&#8217;m only including the WWE-related items).<\/p><div id=\"prowr-259810408\" class=\"prowr-content-4 prowr-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: prowrestling_incontent_2 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"prowrestling_incontent_2\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\", slotId: \"prowrestling_incontent_2\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>-A caller asked how they see engagement in WWE and UFC going. Shapiro answered the question (the audio temporarily cut out on my end). Shapiro spoke about focusing on positioning the brand and audience growth, as well as what&#8217;s best from an investment standpoint for their shareholders. He mentioned that they could have done SummerSlam in one night and likely would have had a higher ticket count. He said they felt it would make for a better live and viewing experience to go two nights, and that it was important to return to the Midwest.<\/p>\n<p>-Shapiro was asked about sports media rights, mentioning the possibility of taking Smackdown and NXT to market. He said they have no plans to accelerate conversations on their end.<\/p>\n<p>-A caller asked about WWE live events, noting that this quarter seemed to be affected by WrestleMania. He wondered if they will reevaluate their live events strategy. Schleimer confirmed WrestleMania&#8217;s effect on the quarter, recalling that he mentioned it during his remarks. The caller followed up by asking why not be more aggressive in investing in the tentpole events, citing the interest in Conor McGregor&#8217;s fight. Shapiro recalled saying they will be hunting for unique venues, etc. He recalled running the Sphere in Las Vegas and the White House. He said McGregor&#8217;s fight was a numbered event and not something out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n<p>-The final question was about the biggest priorities for Zuffa Boxing and asked about the reaction now that they&#8217;ve run some shows outside Las Vegas. Shapiro said it&#8217;s a lot of rinse and repeat as far as what they do with their other brands. He said they are on the hunt to create more one-of-a-kind experiences. Schleimer mentioned the unique deal with the Saudis that gives them equity without any risk. He said they are paid a fee for those events. Shapiro said they know how to stage big events. He said Dana White has a reputation for putting fighters and fans first, and fighters want to be with the brand that he&#8217;s running.
