Irby will oversee all strategic planning and execution of Live Events, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Licensing, Consumer Products and other major lines of business for the company. He joins AEW from Clemson University, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer within the athletic department and has previously held positions with the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football as Chief Marketing Officer, Professional Bull Riders (PBR) as President and WWE as Regional Director of Live Events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKosha brings decades of experience within the sports, entertainment and wrestling industries alongside an incredible work ethic and passion for our brand,\u201d said Khan. \u201cAs Chief Operating Officer, he will be a phenomenal asset to AEW as we enter the next phase of the company\u2019s ongoing business development and expansion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ABOUT AEW<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nFounded by CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan in 2019, AEW is a red-hot professional wrestling promotion featuring a world-class roster that is injecting new spirit, freshness and energy into the industry. \u201cAEW: Dynamite\u201d airs every Wednesday from 8-10 p.m. ET on TBS, \u201cAEW: Rampage\u201d airs every Friday from 10-11 p.m. ET on TNT, and \u201cAEW: Collision\u201d airs every Saturday from 8-10 p.m. ET on TNT.
