That\u2019s about it in Indianapolis. It\u2019s purely coincidence, man. It is what it is. I\u2019m by no means trying to bilk off of WWE being in town. It was something that I found out kind of afterwards. But for a promoter, it\u2019s a great idea. To get Bischoff and I together anywhere is a great idea because I haven\u2019t seen him or been around him since I left the world of professional wrestling in WCW. To be on his podcast and for him to ask me those smart ass questions that I know he\u2019s going to ask me, I think that may be very entertaining for the people who attend, because hopefully the ones in the first couple of rows will get some blood splattered on them when I squeeze his head like a pimple. But the truth is, he\u2019s the one who got me into the business. He and I have a long history and we got a lot of dirt on each other. So I don\u2019t know how deep we\u2019re going to go, but I think it\u2019s going to be quite entertaining for everybody. And like I said, Brock knows where the gym is, Brock knows where I live, and I\u2019m not contractually bound to any deal with the WWE. So I have no business being around anything they\u2019re doing right now and it\u2019s purely by coincidence. But hey, I could get a phone call between now and then. You never know.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>If anyone from the WWE has reached out to invite him to the event cause they\u2019re going to be in the same area at the same time:<\/b> &#8220;Oh man, they don\u2019t do that. They\u2019ve got their own agenda, man. I\u2019m a 49-year-old has-been over here that just so happens to be in their new video game, and it\u2019s an honor for me to do it. It\u2019s an honor for me to take place in it and hey, I have no issues with them anymore. Like I said, to be able to do anything with them at this point it is a true testament to my ability to deliver for my son. So that\u2019s it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>Thoughts on WWE cross-promoting with the UFC with Brock Lesnar, and Conor McGregor calling WWE Wrestlers \u2018dweebs\u2019 and saying he\u2019d &#8220;slap the heads off the entire WWE roster\u2019:<\/b> &#8220;I thought the funniest thing I\u2019ve ever seen was (Randy) Orton calling him \u2018Conor McDonald\u2019. I think that is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Hey man, you have to embrace it. It\u2019s the same crowd. One grows up and feeds into the other. You can\u2019t tell me, and I said this before, that 75 percent of the guys wouldn\u2019t die to be professional wrestlers that are fighting, and vice versa. We have a lot respect for each other, a lot of us train in martial arts and a lot of them walk around and act like they\u2019re us. So the cross-promotion \u2013 Dana White is Vince McMahon in training. I\u2019ve said that 20 years ago. I think it\u2019s business, I think it\u2019s smart business. Whether it\u2019s (Ronda Rousey) at Wrestlemania, whether Conor is working this thing. I can tell you one thing, I was around when Brock responded to Conor (laughs) and nothing that Brock does is a work. So the words that came out of his mouth, he fully believes and I do also. And I think that if it wasn\u2019t a work, then it\u2019s a sad situation when you have to talk crap about other organizations that you know your paths are never going to cross competitively. So at the end of the day, you\u2019re kind of like a keyboard warrior unless you want to step into the guy\u2019s gym or unless you want to do it on TV, you know, meet in the middle. I always thought that was kind of cheap, but hey, you know, he (Conor McGregor) doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s talking about if he actually thinks that. I think that the cross-promotion is brilliant, as long as it doesn\u2019t get hokey for the UFC and as long as WWE can capitalise on the realism of what the UFC brings. It sure enhances Brock\u2019s stock when he walks over to do sports entertainment, I mean, let\u2019s be honest.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>Goldberg on whether CM Punk should fight in the UFC again:<\/b> &#8220;There\u2019s no question he should not fight in the UFC. That would be blasphemy. It would be a slap in the face to all the guys who work their asses off to make it to prelims on Fox, on undercards and on the main event card. At the end of the day, from a promoter\u2019s standpoint, from a competitor\u2019s standpoint, from his standpoint, there\u2019s no logic to him stepping in that octagon again. If he still has the passion for it and wants to train and compete, then yeah, lower-level shows are where he needs to be. Because at the end of the day, you know he\u2019ll get &#8220;seat time&#8221;. That\u2019s my analogy cause I like to race cars, but you know, the more &#8220;seat time&#8221; you get, the better you are at something. And, you know, I spent eight three-minute rounds this morning and though I didn\u2019t go one-hundred percent and I didn\u2019t kick, I just went hands, at the end of the day, every little bit helps you. So the more time he has at his new craft or his passion, then the better he\u2019s going to get at it, the more comfortable he\u2019ll be.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"prowr-1212750454\"
