Drew Galloway told ESPN.com that he has re-signed with WWE and will work for the NXT brand. “Well, the answer’s pretty simple,” said Galloway when he was asked about his status. “I’ve won championships all across the world. I’ve helped build brands. So what’s the next logical thing for me to do? It’s to come here and win the NXT Title… If that’s not clear enough for everybody, Drew McIntyre has signed with NXT.”
Powell’s POV: Drew McIntyre is the name that Galloway uses in WWE. I wonder what the justification will be for him joining the NXT brand instead of going to the main roster. After all, he’s familiar with WWE production, he knows the WWE system, and he’s become a top notch worker since he was released by WWE. At any rate, he’s a terrific addition to the NXT roster.
I had been hoping they would sign Drew for the rumored UK show. He would be perfect to build around. Maybe a short stint in NXT until production starts?
