-Ring of Honor’s 14th Anniversary pay-per-view event takes place tonight in Las Vegas, Nevada at Sam’s Town Live. The show is headlined by Jay Lethal vs. Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly in a Triple Threat for the ROH Title, and Tomohiro Ishii vs. Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Fish in a Triple Threat for the ROH TV Title. Join me for live coverage as the show airs on pay-per-view television at 8:00 p.m. CT.

WWE is in Louisville, Kentucky at the Yum! Center on Saturday with the following advertised matches: Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose for the U.S. Title, and Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio for the U.S. Title.

-WWE is in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at Show Me Center on Saturday with the following advertised talent: Kane, Bray Wyatt, Ryback, Rusev, Big Show, Braun Strowman, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Lana, The Dudley Boyz, The Uso Brothers, and New Day.

-WWE is in Jonesboro, Arkansas at ASU Convocation Center on Sunday with the following advertised matches: Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus, New Day vs. The Uso Brothers, Ryback vs. Rusev, Charlotte vs. Paige for the Divas Championship, Big Show vs. The Ascension. It’s worth noting that Reigns is not listed for this show on the WWE website’s live events page listing, so it’s possible the arena listing is dated.

-WWE is in Evansville, Indiana at The Ford Center on Sunday with the following advertised lineup: Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Title, and Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio for the U.S. Title

-TNA has no dates advertised. One can only imagine they will need to advertise shows soon with only four weeks of television remaining from the UK tour.

-The next Evolve events will be March 19-20 in Queens and Brooklyn, New York. The promotion will also be running in Dallas during WrestleMania weekend on April 1-2 at Eddie Deen’s Ranch.

-Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will hold its All-Star Weekend events on March 4-5 in Reseda, California at American Legion Post 308.

Birthdays and Notables

-The late Verne Gagne was born on February 26, 1926. The longtime wrestling star turned AWA owner and promoter died on April 27, 2015 at age 89.

-Jim “Sinister Minister” Mitchell is 51 today. Just imagine the debauchery that ensues when the devil celebrates his birthday.

-The late Reid Flair was born on February 26, 1988. He died of a heroin overdose on March 29, 2013.
