Dot Net WWE News: An update on Rey Mysterio's knee
Sep 13, 2010 - 02:17 PM |
The word in early 2010 was that WWE star Rey Mysterio was putting off knee surgery to work through the WrestleMania 26 pay-per-view event. When that event came and went and he was still wrestling, the assumption was that he was going to hold off surgery by working through SummerSlam.
However, Dot Net has learned that there are currently no plans for Mysterio to undergo surgery. Rather, he received cartilage injection a while back, which has alleviated the pain he was experiencing.
Powell's POV: Mysterio has had a lot of knee problems over the years. I don't know much about the procedure, but one can only hope that he's not making the situation worse with a temporary solution to a permanent problem.
