Mickie James spoke with the WWE website about her current stint at the WWE Performance Center. "I got a call from Talent Relations, and they asked if I would be interested in coming down, checking it out and working with some of the girls here," James said. "Of course, I jumped all over it; I was happy to do it. The place is amazing, it really is mind-blowing. We had all prayed for something like this [when we were] breaking in."

James was also asked whether her stint in developmental means she is returning to the WWE ring. "Of course, I would absolutely love that, but you never know," she said. "I’m just trying to take advantage of this opportunity. If I can pass a little knowledge of what I know, then hopefully that will do something, if not for me, then for the future of WWE and women’s wrestling itself." Read the full interview at

Powell's POV: Monday's Raw Country themed show in Nashville, Tennessee would be a great place to reintroduce James to the WWE audience. For that matter, adding her to the Survivor Series pay-per-view lineup could only help improve the flat lineup. James also spoke about developmental Divas who have impressed her, her standout moment in WWE, and her country music career.
