TNA News: Kevin Von Erich to appear with his sons at Slammiversary
TNA has officially announced that Kevin Von Erich and his sons Ross and Marshall will appear at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. "Seeing my boys enter the ring on Father's Day will be one of the proudest moments of my life," Kevin said in a story on the TNA website. "I am looking forward to it and looking forwarding to being back in the Dallas area. I now understand how my father felt when me and my brothers entered the ring." Powell's POV: The TNA story notes that Ross and Marhsll will have their first "globally televised match" at Slammiversary with Kevin in their corner. However, it does not list their opponents. As previously noted, the Ross and Marshall fan page lists them as facing Robbie E and Jessie. I like the move by TNA as obviously the Von Erich family is huge in Texas wrestling history. It should sell some extra pay-per-views and generate plenty of media attention in Texas, where the event is being held.
