ROH News: UFC fighter negotiating permanent deal leads to TMZ publicity
UFC fighter Tom Lawlor is negotiating a permanent deal with Ring of Honor, according to TMZ.com. The story states that UFC has given Lawlor their blessing to work with ROH as the manager for Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly during his downtime and he could actually end up getting some ring action.
Powell's POV: Lawlor is a longtime pro wrestling fan. He got more involved at the Hammerstein Ballroom show last month than anyone expected considering he is under UFC contract. Whether he does more with ROH or not, the story garnered some mainstream publicity for ROH's Best in the World pay-per-view event on June 22.
