Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.70 rating, down from the 1.73 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.569 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.535 million viewers.
Powell’s POV: It has to be a bit discouraging that the company advertised two big matches a week out and ended up going down in the rating, yet they did receive a slight increase in viewership. The August 2, 2016 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.86 rating with 2.681 million viewers.
