-WWE announced that the first four episodes of the Mae Young Classic women’s tournament will be available via WWE Network’s on demand section on Monday, August 28. The next four episodes will be available on Monday, September 4. The finals of the tournament will air live from Las Vegas on Tuesday, September 12 at 9CT/10ET.
-WWE also announced that the broadcast team for the 32-woman tournament will be Jim Ross and Lita. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.
Powell’s POV: I’m all for the idea of WWE releasing the show via video on demand rather than dragging things out by streaming it weekly. We will definitely have coverage of the tournament once it is available on the network.
