The Bellator MMA group announced that Mauro Ranallo will be joining their broadcast team beginning with their June 24 event. A press release states that Ranallo signed a “multi-event broadcast agreement.” Read the official press release at Bellator.spike.com.

Powell’s POV: Bellator also announced the signing of former UFC voice Mike Goldberg in the same press release, which added that both men will join the existing broadcast team of Jimmy Smith, Jenn Brown, and Chael Sonnen. Goldberg was actually courted by WWE in 2005 to serve as the lead voice of Raw. Ranallo’s WWE deal expires on August 12, so it will be interesting to see what his next pro wrestling gig will be.
