WWE Live Event
San Juan, Puerto Rico at Coliseo de Puerto Rico
Report by Dot Net reader Ferdinand Ocasio

The event was sold out and the atmosphere was of the charts. I’ve been to most of WWE events in the Island and this was the best. To me it was very curios that the arena was packed with girls. It felt that 50 percent were girls, which is a big difference from 10 years back.

1. Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Dolph Ziggler. Great reaction for Nakamura’s entrance and through the match. Great opening with Nakamura scoring the win via pinfall.

2. Luke Harper, Mojo Rawley and Sin Cara beat Erick Rowan and The Ascension. Harper & Co. won a good back and forth match via pinfall.

3. Ty Dillinger pinned Aiden English. I would say this was the “worst” match of the evening. Good effort by both wrestlers which ended with Dillinger scoring the pinfall.

4. AJ Styles and Sami Zayn beat Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin. Best match of the night! Of course, it had the two best wrestlers in WWE today (Owens and Styles). Styles scored the clean pin over Owens after a Styles flying forearm.

5. Naomi defeated Becky Lynch, Tamina, Carmella, Natalya in a five-way to retain the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Naomi scored the pinfall win over Natalya after a very entertaining match.

6. The Usos defeated The Colons, American Alpha, and Breezango in a Fatal Four Way to retain the Smackdown Tag Titles. Fans were very vocal and supporting of the local boys, The Colóns. The Usos got the win after a blind tag. Great effort by every wrestler involved.

7. Jinder Mahal (w/The Singh Brothers) defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship. Your typical Orton match, slow and lots of shortcuts. Mahal won after a distraction from the Sigh Brothers.
