Sean Waltman was cleared of state charges relating to his arrest at LAX on April 29, according to ProwrestlingSheet.com. LAX officials believed pills in his possession were meth, which Waltman denied, instead stating that they were pills used to treat a yeast infection. After testing, the pills were determined not to be a controlled substance.

Powell’s POV: The marijuana in Waltman’s possession was deemed to be within the legal amount allowed in the state of California. It’s possible that it could be labeled a federal crime given that the federal government does not recognize state laws on this issue, but the distract attorney told TMZ that there is no state crime. I exchanged notes with Waltman shortly after his arrest and he wrote at the time, “For once, I didn’t do it!!!” Waltman has always been a straight shooter in my dealings with him, so I am not surprised that he was being truthful.
