Larry Sharpe (Larry Weil) died on Monday evening at age 66. Sharpe, a longtime wrestler turned founder of the Monster Factory training school, had been battling liver cancer.

Powell’s POV: The Monster Factory Facebook page ran a statement from Sharpe’s sister Darlene Weil Green, who announced that plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later date. She encouraged interested parties to check New Jersey’s Farnelli Funeral Home’s website at farnellifuneralhome.com for additional details. My condolences to her and the rest of Larry’s family and friends.
