WWE announced that Jim Cornette will induct Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson into the WWE Hall of Fame. Cornette was the longtime manager of the Midnight Express, the longtime rivals of Morton and Gibson. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.
Powell’s POV: The move is surprising in that Cornette has not been on good terms with the company for many years. It’s also perfect in that Cornette should be the guy to induct Morton and Gibson. Here’s hoping this move leads to Cornette and the Midnight Express taking their rightful spots in the WWE Hall of Fame in a future class.
