WWE has announced that Kurt Angle’s presenter at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be John Cena. The event will be held on March 31 in Orlando, Florida at Amway Center. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.
Powell’s POV: Angle provided a short list of candidates in a recent interview that included Cena, Undertaker, Steve Austin, and Brock Lesnar. I couldn’t see Taker or Lesnar delivering speeches, so it came down to Cena and Austin in my mind along with Shane McMahon as a dark horse. Ultimately, I think they made a good selection, and it’s cool that Cena will be inducting the man he wrestled in his first televised match in a WWE ring.
