Dark Match

1. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins beat Adrian Jaoude and Cezar Bononi. Ford, who has a lot of charisma, got the pin with standing shooting star press.

January 11 Episode

They showed a video of Peyton Royce and Billie Kaye mugging Asuka in the parking lot. They dumped a drink on Asuka and left her in a heap.

1. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce defeated Macey Estrella and Mary Dobson/Sarah Bridges. The winners cut a promo saying the division and title belong to them. Asuka ran out, but they beat her down again. Nikki Cross made the save, then laid out Asuka with a missile dropkick.

2. Elias Samson defeated Jonathan Cruz. The Drifter won with a Roll of the Dice.

3. Andrade “Cien” Almas beat Oney Lorcan. Short but very fun. Almas got his win back after losing on the Osaka show. Almas cut a promo in broken English. The white Florida crowd chanted “que?” He basically said 2017 is his year, and Lorcan was just first on his list.

4. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano defeated The Revival to retain the NXT Tag Titles. A really good match. Authors of Pain ran in and destroyed the tag champions.

January 18 Episode

1. Nikki Cross defeated an unnamed woman. Cross won with a fisherman’s neckbreaker.

2. Roderick Strong beat Steve Cutler. Strong won with a Sick Kick. Strong cut a promo and said he wants the NXT Title in 2017. It looks like he will feud with Andrade Almas.

Tye Dillinger came out for a promo and didn’t do the “10” gimmick. He questioned whether he still has it. Sanity came out. Eric Young told Dillinger that he doesn’t have it, but he could if he had the right friends. Young offered him a Sanity jacket. Dillinger took it and then dropped it. Young told him he wasn’t asking him, he was ordering him. Dillinger flashed him the ten sign and then they brawled. Dillinger got the better of EY until Damo made the save. Damo killed Dillinger with the Electric Chair Driver, accepted the jacket himself.

3. Ember Moon beat Liv Morgan. Morgan had new ring gear. Ember won with the Eclipse. A pretty decent match while it lasted. They shook hands afterward.

January 25 Episode

A contract signing for the Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bobby Roode match for the NXT Title opened the show. The segment went too long and nothing really happened, but the Full Sail crowd ate it up.

1. Aliyah beat Mandy Rose. A very bad match. Mandy is using a “Pour Some Sugar On Me” knockoff entrance theme. Aliyah won via submission in what may have been a dark match.

2. No Way Jose defeated Kona Reeves. Jose won with a pop-up punch. It looks like they are going with a Jose vs. Drifter feud.

3. Eric Young defeated Chris Atkins. Afterward, Young said Dillinger made the wrong choice and will pay for it in San Antonio. Damo hit a senton on Atkins. It as unclear as to whether Young or Damo will work the match against Dillinger in San Antonio.

4. TM61 defeated The Revival. TM61 got a rollup win. They were jumped by the heels afterward. They did an injury angle with Shane Thorne.

Asuka vs. Nikki Cross vs. Billie Kay vs. Peyton Royce for the NXT Women’s Championship was announced for San Antonio. The women delivered promos for the match. Nikki didn’t talk. Asuka hit the ring and ran Peyton and Billie off. Asuka and Nikki had a faceoff, the heels tried to attack them both from behind, but were cleared. Male security came out and were beaten up by Asuka and Nikki. Asuka hit a kick on Nikki, but as she walked out, Nikki flew off the top turnbuckle onto Asuka and security at ringside.

5. Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode beat Samoa Joe and Tajiri. Shane McMahon was spotted watching from the shadows. Nakamura pinned Joe. Kassius Ohno (a/k/a Chris Hero) returned and confronted Nakamura.
