Former WWE wrestler Adam “Edge” Copeland is included in a long list of guest stars on the new Bookaboo that premieres today on Amazon Prime. “Bookaboo is an exciting show developed to promote literacy by inspiring parents to read to and with their children and help instill a lifelong love of reading,” Tara Sorensen, Head of Kids Programming at Amazon Studios, stated in a press release. “Each episode incorporates funny storytelling and great books, specifically chosen to capture young viewers’ attention and imagination.”
Powell’s POV: The press release also states that the show combines puppetry, live action and CGI animation, and that each show includes a guest star sharing their favorite picture book with the title character. I’m not sure which episode Edge appears in, but the entire first season is available today.
