-NXT TV features the debut of Roderick Strong, who teams with Austin Aries in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic match. Join Zack Zimmerman for live coverage as the show streams on WWE Network at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-Lucha Underground features Matanza Cueto in action in a match made by Dario Cueto. LU airs on El Rey Network tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT. John Moore’s full review of the show will be available on Thursday.

-Ring of Honor TV on Comet TV features Jay Lethal vs. Silas Young in the first show from the latest batch of tapings. My full report on the show will be available this afternoon.

Birthdays and Notables

-Saraya Knight (a/k/a Julia Hamer-Bevis) is 45 today. She is a longtime wrestler, promoter, and the mother of suspended WWE wrestler Paige.

-Road Warrior Hawk (a/k/a MIke Hegstrand) died on October 19, 2003. He died at age 46 of a heart attack.

-Mike Graham took his own life on October 19, 2012 at age 61. Graham took his own life just as his father and his son did before him.
