Dot Net reader Matt H attended the WWE Smackdown taping in San Diego, California on Tuesday and sent the following results of the WWE Main Event taping.
1. Naomi beat Natalya. The taping was held after the live broadcast due to being on the West Coast. The guys behind me said the show is named Main Event because it always takes place after the other show. Funny.
2. Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated The Ascension.
Dark Matches
-Curt Hawkins beat an enhancement wrestler in the first match of the night. Hawkins greeted us as San Francisco and recited some of his facts. He also told the jobber to face the facts. Hawkins won. Meh.
-John Cena defeated AJ Styles in a non-title match. This match was held after the Smackdown taping and before the Main Event taping. Cena won with a rollup and celebrated like he won the title. However, AJ told him it was a non-title match. Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment.
-Randy Orton beat Bray Wyatt. This match closed the overall show. Orton received the pop of the night.
