Eddie Edwards defeated Lashley to win the TNA Championship at the Impact taping on Monday in Orlando, Florida.
Powell’s POV: And I just praised the company for keeping the championship on Lashley at Bound For Glory with the feeling being that they needed to build up to a key moment and put over the right person. As much as I enjoy the work of Eddie Edwards, this doesn’t wow me on paper, especially considering he just lost to the X Division Champion and the Grand Champion, but I’ll wait to see how it plays out on television.
