WWE Backlash lineup: Five matches official for Sunday’s event featuring the introduction of two new championships

The following matches are advertised for the WWE Backlash event, which will be held on Sunday in Richmond, Virginia at The Coliseum.

-Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

-Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch vs. Naomi vs. Natalya vs. Carmella vs. Alexa Bliss in a Six Pack Challenge for the new Smackdown Women’s Championship.

-Smackdown Tag Team Tournament Final for the new WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship.

-Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt.

-The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship.

Powell’s POV: The semifinals of the tag tournament features American Alpha vs. The Usos, and Rhyno and Heath Slater vs. The Hype Bros, so the winners of those two matches will meet in the finals.
