Birthdays and Notables

-WWE broadcast team member Scott Stanford is 39 today. Let the record show that I’m still disappointed that WWE Network doesn’t end each day with Shirtless Scott Stanford Hour.

-The late Killer Kowalski (a/k/a Edward Władysław Spulnik) died at age 81 on August 30, 2008. The longtime pro wrestler turned trainer was a mentor to Triple H, and other students include Eddie Edwards, Kofi Kingston, Chyna, Aron Rex, and Fandango.

–The late JC Bailey (Joseph Carl Bailey, Jr.) died at age 27 on August 30, 2010. The hardcore style wrestler suffered a brain aneurysm in his sleep that was triggered by multiple concussions and brain trauma.
