In short, a decent house show. The 10.30 p.m. finish time was a bit late for a lot of the kids being carried out asleep by mums and dads. The card was pretty similar to the other stops.
1. Apollo Crews beat Sheamus with a roll up.
2. Braun Strowman defeated Jey Uso.
3. Finn Balor defeated Chris Jericho.
4. New Day defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.
5. Rusev defeated Titus O’Neil to retain the U.S. Title in quick fashion.
6. John Cena defeated AJ Styles. The best match of the night by a mile (should have finished the show if it was a two hour job).
7. Sami Zayn beat Kevin Owens.
8. Sasha Banks beat Charlotte by submission to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
9. Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins.
Jericho and Balor as well as Cena and Styles were the standouts. Rollins vs. Reigns was good, but the crowd was spent. My six-year-old noted that Roman got some cheers “so I guess some people in Australia like him.” A fun way to sum up the night. Overall an enjoyable show.
