Logo_WWE_dnBig Show (a/k/a Paul Wight Jr.) indicated in a radio interview that he intends to retire in 2017. “I have that big match coming up with Shaq (Shaquille O’Neil), so I’m looking forward to making my last year, trying to out athletically with a bang,” Show said. Listen to the full interview at Miami’s 790-AM The Ticket.

Powell’s POV: Show said his peak weight was 537 pounds in 2006, but he currently weighs 436 pounds and wants to get down to 400 pounds. Show also spoke about attending Miami Dolphins training camp this week, changes in the business, and he told a fun story about impersonating Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage in a romantic relationship for the duo at the urging of Brian Adams. By the way, the announcement of the Shaq match was so tame that it came off like a comedic publicity stunt, but Show continues to indicate the match is happening.
