Powell’s POV: While nothing is official, we’ve been saying since the draft was first announced that Daniel Bryan was at the top of the company’s wish list to be the Smackdown authority figure. The big question seemed to be whether it’s a role he would be interested in playing. The official announcement of Stephanie McMahon’s Raw general manager and Shane McMahon’s Smackdown general manager will be made on Monday’s Raw.
