WWE Live Event
Honolulu, Hawaii
Report by Dot Net reader Reid Shimizu

What a night! After a 6-year absence, the WWE made its long overdue return to Honolulu. The Blaisdell Arena was sold out and merchandise lines were long. Among those in attendance was UFC featherweight and Hawaii native, Max Holloway.

1. Titus O’Neil defeated Curtis Axel.

2. Baron Corbin pinned Dolph Ziggler.

3. The Usos defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

4. Asuka defeated Natayla via submission to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

5. The New Day defeated The Vaudevillains to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.

6. Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch via submission at retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

7. Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Kevin Owens. My favorite match of the night. Owens attacked Nakamura during his ring entrance and then mocked him.
Both men put on a show with some hard hitting offense and I hope these two eventually have a long feud.

8. Dean Ambrose defeated AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, and Chris Jericho in a four-way to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. An excellent main event with a ton of action. Great work by everybody involved. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Styles to pick up the win.
