Logo_ROH_dn_crop600The following matches are advertised for the Ring of Honor “Best in the World” pay-per-view that will be held on Friday, June 24 in Concord, North Carolina at Cabarrus Arena.

-Jay Lethal vs. Jay Briscoe for the ROH Title.

-Bobby Fish vs. Dalton Castle for the ROH TV Title.

Powell’s POV: ROH is billing the ROH Title match as being a rematch one year in the making. And while I have no doubt that the match will be very good, the company has not done anything to build up momentum for Briscoe as a singles wrestler. In fact, I can’t even remember the last time he won a true singles match. Meanwhile, Castle earned his title shot on the last pay-per-view by winning a four-way match and I am looking forward to seeing what he and Fish can produce.
