hunter1WWE has re-signed Paul “Triple H” Levesque to a three-year contract as a wrestler. The new agreement will roll over each year after it expires unless either party terminates the deal. Levesque will be paid a downside of $1 million downside guarantee.

Powell’s POV: Hunter has topped his downside every year. It’s worth noting that Vince McMahon even teased the possibility that WrestleMania 32 would be Hunter’s last when he was interviewed by Brian Fritz for the OrlandoSentinel.com

“He’s done so well,” Vince told Fritz. “I’m so proud of him, not just the years he’s spent in the ring and I don’t know how many more years that’s going to last. This may be his last WrestleMania. I don’t know. He’s a little long in the tooth as I say to his face and we all laugh about that now because I’m 70 years old.”
