-This is perhaps the lightest weekend for pro wrestling live events with WWE off following WrestleMania. In fact, of the major groups, only NXT is running live events this weekend (we ran those Carolina dates in Thursday’s Dot Net Daily). WWE will be in Los Angeles, California for Raw on Monday, and in San Diego, California on Tuesday.

-We are looking for correspondents for the NXT events that we listed yesterday and all future WWE, NXT, ROH, and Evolve live and television events. If you are attending a show and want to help, send your report (or basic results) to dotnetjason@gmail.com

-The next Ring of Honor show is April 23 in San Antonio, Texas at the Shrine Auditorium. The advertised main event is Jay Lethal vs. ACH vs. Moose vs. Roderick Strong vs. Jay Briscoe vs. Kyle O’Reilly in a proving ground instant reward match.

-The next Evolve shows are May 6 in Joppa, Maryland at MCW Arena, and May 7 in Queens, New York at La Boom in Dallas, Texas at Eddie Deen’s Ranch. Both shows will be available via iPPV on WWNLive.com.

-TNA’s next round of Impact Wrestling television tapings will be held on April 21-24 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Birthdays and Notables

-The Ultimate Warrior (born James Hellwig) died on April 8, 2014 at age 54. He died just one day after appearing on WWE Raw. The cause of death was listed as Myocardial infarction.
