WWE broadcast team member Jerry Lawler says he’s received death threats

Jerry Lawler claims his endorsement of WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump has led to him receiving death threats, according to WMC-TV in Memphis. Lawler told the television station that sending the tweet probably was not the best idea and he intends to stay out of politics.

Powell’s POV: Social media gives everyone a voice, including those who send death threats to people who feel differently than they do. For what it’s worth, I am not a Trump supporter, but I think it’s very sad Lawler or anyone else has to fear expressing an opinion.
