John Cena has been named the honorary pace car driver for the Daytona 500. The race takes place on February 21 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Powell’s POV: Sparky Plug is very jealous right now. I’m not a NASCAR guy, but even I think that’s a pretty cool role. The race will be broadcast on FOX, so one can only assume that there will be plenty of crossover hype for his “American Grit” show that premieres on the network on April 14.
