The following matches are advertised for Friday’s TNA One Night Only Live pay-per-view event, which will be broadcast from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania at Sands Bethlehem Event Center.
-The Wolves vs. Kurt Angle and Drew Galloway vs. Jessie Godderz and Eli Drake
-Aiden O’Shea vs. Mahabali Shera
-Lashley vs. Tyrus
-Gauntlet match to become No. 1 contender to the TNA Knockouts Title
Powell’s POV: TNA is advertising Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky, Awesome Kong, Marti, Jade, and Rebel for the gauntlet match thus far. They announced a Beer Money reunion match on Tuesday’s Impact. The company is also advertising Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, and Gail Kim. The event is blocked for three hours and carries a $14.95 price tag for standard definition and $24.95 for HD via DirecTV. Given the three-hour length, one can only assume that the company will be announcing more matches. I must say that I am baffled by the mediocre hype this event received on Impact. At this point, I am seriously debating whether live coverage is warranted. Perhaps I’ll feel differently once the full lineup is announced.
