WWE announced that Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose suffered a cut on top of his head that required six staples to close. They have posted footage of Ambrose receiving medical treatment at WWE.com.
Powell’s POV: A cut doesn’t seem like anything that would prevent Ambrose from working the Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Title on tonight’s live WWE Smackdown broadcast. However, it’s unclear how he suffered the cut or whether he exhibited any signs of a concussion afterward.
