Steel Domain Wrestling issued the following press release to Prowrestling.net to promote the April 19 event in Richfield, Minnesota.

A return to the days of classic TV studio professional wrestling will debut Saturday, April 19th at the Richfield/Minneapolis American Legion! The great young stars of "Steel Domain Wrestling" will showcase their talent with a great evening of action being taped for future broadcast on the internet. Harkening back to the days of the Twin Cities-based juggernaut, the American Wrestling  Association, the matches will be held in a smaller venue, recreating the atmosphere of days gone by. The broadcast will officially be called "Championship Wrestling from the Twin Cities."

"We are so excited about this," said promoter Ed Hellier. "Fans have been clamoring for the "old school" setting. We are delighted to bring it back." For decades, until pro wrestling altered its production and went to larger arenas, the matches were presented in local television studios which truly presented a "home town feel." This is the ambiance that Steel Domain wants to bring back. Hellier's producer, former AWA announcer Mick Karch, was equally enthusiastic. "When I was growing up, there was nothing like it. You were up close and personal. The matches, the interviews, it was all right there in one room," Karch recalled.

Many of pro wrestling's current crop of exciting stars will be on hand, including Northern States Heavyweight Champion "Hot Shot" Danny Duggan, "The Canadian Crusher" A.J. LaRock, "Sheik" Ariya Daivari, Ricky Love, Ryan Slade and more. In addition, the legendary Stan "Krusher" Kowalski, one half of the very first AWA Tag Team Champions along with Tiny Mills, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his tireless work on behalf of United States military veterans.

The Legion is located at 6501 Portland Avenue. Doors open at 6:30, matches begin at 7:30. Fans are encouraged to get their tickets early as seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at SteelDomainWrestling.com.
