TNA wrestler Tommy Dreamer accuses an indy promoter of skipping town without paying several wrestlers
Jul 25, 2010 - 03:38 PM |
TNA wrestler Tommy Dreamer posted a note on his Twitter page regarding a promoter who allegedly left the building without paying performers. The show occurred on Saturday night in Scranton, Pa. and featured performers such as Dreamer, Raven, Shane Douglas, Larry Zbyszko, Sean Morley, and David Samartino.
The promoter has been identified as Keith Stoddard. "Interesting things from last night's show," Dreamer wrote. "Police are involved. Don't know who is guilty, honored to work for the fans." To read more on the situation, visit Twitter.com/TheTommyDreamer.
Powell's POV: It's always a shame when indy promoters bite off more than they can chew or simply get greedy. We'll pass along updates if the police, talent, or the promoter offer any followup info.
