Ric Flair's discusses "Secret Talents of the Stars," will the show be around long enough for him to appear?
Apr 10, 2008 - 09:15 AM |
Ric Flair appeared on the John Boy and Billy radio show on Tuesday and said he is still learning how to dance for his upcoming appearance on CBS's "Secret Talents of the Stars." He stated that his appearance on the show won't take place until the first week in May. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Steve Linn]
Powell's POV: The "Secret Talents" show drew a dismal 3.2 overnight rating and finished last among the big three networks. The rating is low enough that there's a chance the show won't be around long enough for Flair to make his scheduled to make his appearance.
It would be cool if the show lasted long enough for wrestling fans to tune in and spike the ratings for one week. If nothing else, that would send the message to CBS that Flair's appearance should warrant more attention than Danny Bonaduce, George Takei, and some of the other D-list celebrities they've been advertising over Flair.
