Lanny Poffo told Tampa Bay Online reporter Paul Guzzo that WWE should induct his late brother Randy Savage even if they choose not to induct him and his father. "“This is for the fans," Poffo said. "They want to honor Randy and see him get his respect. So if the WWE wants Randy in the Hall of Fame but not my father or me, they should do it." However, Poffo said there is one condition. Powell's POV: Poffo states in the story that Savage was invited by Vince McMahon to be inducted in 2010. However, WWE declined when Savage said he wanted Lanny and their father Angelo Poffo to be inducted along with him. Lanny maintains that Savage told him that if anything should happen to him that he did not want to be inducted unless they went in as a family. Poffo also states that WWE reached out again to induct Savage in 2012. One has to think that a simple expression of condolences to Poffo's mother is simple enough.
