WWE announced the release of Luis Ignacio Urive Alvirde, who played the original Sin Cara. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.
Powell's POV: Hunico has been playing the part of Sin Cara for some time now. Alvirde appeared on a Mexican television show and claimed to own the rights to the Sin Cara character, but obviously WWE feels otherwise since they are still using it on their television shows.
